Thank you for addressing the problem of water in the bottom of the shelter. In my area it would rapidly fill with rain water in winter. Building on the side of a rise or small hill is better for us.

My favorite bushcrafter, he is the most natural . He uses whatever he finds in the forest to make shelter and fishes for food, no special equipment,no special clothing, just like his ancestors did.😍

Sweetie, the trees that were dead and dying. The result of acid rain that was prevalent from the 1940"s more recent times Result of corporate and industrial. Attacks because of pollution, and there is no accounting for how to remedy the result of the acid rain. Finland is 75% forested, meaning a lot of trees were affected by acid rain, and the forest did not recover from that it would take A. Massive effort to replace those trees and Finland is not the only country that was affected. Norway scandinaviad, England go on and on and look in your Wikipedia. Pages for acid rain and for the countries that were affected. Even including the United States, Russia. Etc et cetera etc. I'm homework and figure it out. What they are doing is attempting to utilize the poor trees that were affected by affected by. Acid rain and lost capabilities of ding useful to the environment. Please just do some research and look at it.Don't be an Ostrich
