The black Sally makes a good budget weapon for barrows as well, in case people really need money. It shreds them rather nicely. Hell, even using the lower tier salamanders is a good idea

Black Salamanders are the most stupidly neglected weapons in the game. They are insanely strong and good for not only lava dragons, but are my go-to for wildy slayer too.

They have higher requirements than any other weapon in the game and do less dps than a whip, a magic shortbow, rune knives, a trident, a wilderness weapon. Any half decent weapon smashes them into the ground. Theyd be good in pvp if they werent limited to have 1 square range. Soon as youre frozen its useless

I have a lvl 95 combat account with 82 range. I once was attacked and tele blocked by a pure pk while at ents (I think un experienced) regardless I had a magic short with iron arrows lol -yes at 82 range. I ended up making the pker tele out and all I had was black dragon hide on and an ava bag. I'll never forget the moment

U kno. Back in RS2 salamanders actually costed a bit more and the ammo wasnt cheap. But many ppl used them. And as far as godwars?? Guess what? U can hit the arma boss with it. In melee mode. I think its the only weapon in game that can.

back in rs2? You mean this same rs2 were playing now? You do know this is still rs2? right? Sallies were never valuable until summoning came out. If you could hunt sallies you might hunt an invent or 2 and then never go back, because you'd never see someone actually buying one. Then they would only be buying 1 anyway, even if they were prepared to pay 50k for it. Wouldnt sell another for weeks. this was only possible before the GE came out, then they were immediately available to all, and worthless.
