I'm quite happy about both games in this video. In the first we see a unique formation of pawns and an interesting positional battle, while in game 2 we get... I don't know how to describe it. I've never played a game of chess like that before. My reaction at the end says everything. Pre-order ChessUp 2 on kickstarter to save $100! Thank you for this wonderful video. Love these long relaxing videos. Sleep so well to them. I really would like this board, but I already bought the first one from your link. Is it worth the upgrade? 😊
@ASMRChess6 ай бұрын
@@marguneri thank you for your kind words! You ask a great question! Is it worth the upgrade? I’d say that very much depends on how much money you got. On one hand ChessUp 2 is a clear improvement over ChessUp 1 - the touchscreen and pieceID are very nice features. However ChessUp 1 is already an amazing board with a tonne of nice features AND all the software updates and features (that doesn’t require piece ID) they make for ChessUp 2 they will also make for ChessUp 1, meaning that during the next year or so (is my guess) your ChessUp 1 will get a bunch of new features that you can enjoy for free. It is probably like buying a new phone - yes the new one is a bit nicer and has more features, but in most case your old phone is perfectly fine still. I hope that makes sense!

While the first game was unique and beautiful, the second game was so fresh. I had a friend who just started playing chess and they were confused as to why I always played the Sicilian in every possible game as black, asking if the game got boring and repetitive, since every game looked the same. This game shows that even if you endeavor to play something normal, you never know what the chess gods might toss upon you. These are the types of games that keep you queuing for more chess whenever they happen to occur.
