And while I would love to go over how complex the ties it would have to relaxing music would be in terms of the fact that they're deities of different natural forces, I don't think you want an essay in your replies. Tl;dr, the way nature's forces mingle amongst themselves is pretty serene when you think about it, while remaining pure chaos. Same would probably apply for Arceus's creations if it weren't for the fact they constantly fight against each other in the movies.

I have not seen any negative comments. My dad bought me Pokémon Pearl to reward me for graduating elementary school. I got bullied a lot that year and it was rough so my dad bought me a game that I really wanted to say how much we was proud. Pearl and Platinum helped me through a lot of tough times in my life and I’m forever grateful. Isn’t it crazy how a community can come together over just some nostalgic music. Love this so much.

playing these games while my 8 year old self was tucked under the bedsheet to hide from my parents late at night is one of the core memories i treasure in my mind and heart to this day over 15 years later. I had the volume on the 2nd to lowest setting so i could enjoy this amazing soundtrack that the developers and composers put so much heart into. Pokemon diamond pearl and platinum hold a special place in my soul that will always be greeted with the greatest nostalgia and peace and serenity when looking back on them. :')

I remember when i was 7 finally finishing the elite 4 and cynthia it was late at night I was under the bedshit hiding and watching the game's credits at the lowest volume possible. I remember as a kid, I had trouble sleeping a lot, so I'd stay up late at night playing Pearl (and later Platinum). When I finally felt like I was going to fall asleep, I'd go to one of the lakes or Eterna Forest, plug my DS into the charger, and just let the music play and lull me to sleep. These games have the best atmospheric and calming tracks in the series, and I can't be convinced otherwise.

Thank you. I remember playing these games years ago, my elementary school self hiding under the covers in my bed with my DS getting scared by the bomb in Lake Acuity. I remember the excitement when I finally beat Cyrus on top of the Mountain. The excitement when I beat Cynthia for the first time... it reminds me of a time long ago. I remember sitting with my DS watching the Anime when school was shut due to the snow and how the very same day I caught a weird looking Starly (turned out to be shiny, but I didn't know what those were at the time). I was a very lonely kid and admittedly I was very nerdy. I was good academically and I got bullied for it for many years so Pokemon, especially Pearl, became my escape. Gen 4 has been my favorite game because of it for as long as I can remember. I'd forgotten all about playing Pokemon as a kid until I found this in my recommended feed. A wave of nostalgia washed over me that I was not expecting and the memories all come flooding back. I'm still the same lonely, geekie person I was when I played these games but now I throw myself into my work instead of games and this just reminds me of how I used to have fun. Things like this seem so simple, but the feelings the spark, not just me but a lot of people my age, are appreciated more than you will ever know.

Platinum was my first Pokémon game, I got it a few months after it came out and it was the most influential thing I recieved as a kid. It sparked a lifelong love for Pokémon and really gaming in general. I will always cherish the memories of playing late into the night and hiding my DS under my pillow as a child, or being the only girl in my class who was into Pokémon and being able to kick all the guy's butts in battles.

Even though we werent allowed to bring our ds to school a group of us always did anyway and we'd hide behind a big bush and a wall to have illigal pokemon tournaments there. I miss it so much

These games were something special. Peaceful, yet exciting. Melancholic yet not exactly sad or depressing. And with Sinnoh being the realm of ancient deities, the Lovecraftian horror of some of the legendaries was a welcome surprise.

I got this game at christmas, in 2013 (I was 6). It came out in 2007, so I know it was a little late to have it, but it's still my childhood game and my favourite pokemon game. Just listening to the musics reminds me of all the time I spent playing. I wish I could go back to those times.
