Hey all, Not quite the video I wanted to release this week as I had something fresh in the works for Friday, but unfortunately I've lost the next two days so I can't have it done in time so thought I'd put a compilation together instead. With that though, it means that there will be another 30 minute+ video ready for next Friday! Also, if you're reading this, I hope you're having a great week. Be safe all

I live north of where Chris disappeared. Well aware of this story, and my thoughts, from the beginning, is that the other three individuals in the survey crew know more than they are saying. May have been accidental, or deliberate, but they know what happened to Chris in my opinion. And the area is not heavily wooded. There are residential homes on wooded lots within 300 yards of where Chris disappeared. It wasn't like this occurred in no-where, Alaska. I'd go back to that survey crew, 20 years later, and see if any new details come to light.

Thank you for this interesting video. My children are now 26 and 23. I can honestly say that whilst they were growing up (until about age 11) we never let them out of sight (whilst outside the home) for 1 single second. My wife and I kept eyes on them all the time. Sounds a bit paranoid, I know, but we still have them.

I think this is very unhealthy, kids need to explore and develop their own ways of doing things (without the watching/judging eyes of their parents). Here in the Netherlands its completely normal for kids to play outside without their parents from the ages of 4/5. Never had any serious issue, only good memories :). This behavior you are describing would be considered weird/abusive here. And no, I didn’t grew up in the country side.

Twenty five years ago, when my family and I were at Silver Springs in Florida, we were in line to get on a tour boat. There was an Asian family standing directly in front of us and all of a sudden the mother screamed out something in her native tongue. Immediately, the father jumped into the water and came up with their little boy, about two years old. There was no splash, no sound nothing to alert anyone. The mother's scream was so visceral and the father's reaction so immediate that this memory is burned in my brain. He safely retrieved the child and they got on board the tour boat and due to the father's immediate reaction, the child was saved.

In 1956 i was 3 & a half yrs old & lived in a very rural area of Northumberland in UK. There were quite a few small villages dotted around with either a mile or half mile separating them. I remember quite clearly parts of the day i absconded from home pushing my favourite toy which was a large stuffed toy panda bear on wheels with a push bar at the back to wheel it along. I remember gleefully pushing my bear as fast as i could to the next village to hide from everyone & knowing they would never find me so far away. I carried on walking, then sitting on the bear & pushing myself along, my legs either side of the bear, the way you'd gain speed on a scooter! I still remember the thrill of getting further & further away & knowing they would be searching high & low for me but they'd never believe how far id gone! I didnt do it for devilment or malice just spur of the moment adventure & fun! I wasnt afraid at all even when it got dark. I just curled up in some roadside bushes with my Panda & slept! Well i was found safe & well next day & wasnt abit upset just annoyed they hadnt found me earlier! Id travelled a Good 5 & a bit miles At 3 & ahalf yrs old! So i know it possible little ones can do this! They, as i did, had no concept of how far distance is! 5 miles just seemed to fly by & i was having such fun! I was lucky i was found but i fully intended just going back the way id come! Its always the shoes isnt it? Just shoes or a belt left when they go permanently missing! Its just Very Odd... Not Normal! Thanks Adam Love the long vids Peace 🇬🇧👧

Aye aye Captain.....I read the book that your Panda bear wrote..... Poor bear was never right again! Said how he was traumatized for the rest of his life! Ended up turning to alcohol to try and numb the pain, well, also the pain from having a big ol' bar stuck up his rear end, last I heard he was turning tricks with wayward sailors to try & fund his growing drug habit! Mmmm..... just a sad story for poor ol' big daddy dirty poo bear.

Yeah, I must admit that the story of those two brothers doesn’t add up to me either. @CindiHutchinson a Lil bit of common sense can go a looong way in these situations! How many innawoods stories do you have to hear before you listen? They can't ALL be fake! So if even 1% of these stories are real then that's all the proof you need to know that bad stuff happens in the woods! Also he HITCHED A RIDE! brother was not feeling well......ALL the more reason for him to have HITCHED a ride back with his BROTHER! since the car was 5 HOURS AWAY! This whole thing reeks to high heaven and Lucy got sum splaining to do! Sh!t don't make a bit of sense at all IMO.
@johannaholmgren8088
@johannaholmgren8088 Жыл бұрын
Nope. It's really sketchy...."He didn't feel well so he wanted to sit and wait alone FIVE HOURS for his brother" to retrieve their car. No matter how unwell he felt, it would make more sense for him to travel back to the car, albeit slowly, with his brother. Even if they'd had to stop and rest every few yards. Supposedly the guy was well used to hiking etc? So he'd know not to stay alone if he could help it. At the very least, if he had a medical emergency,being by himself was a bad idea.....

What puzzles me is when a very generic article of clothing is found (like socks) and someone identifies them as belonging to the missing person. I would think that the most that could be said was "this person owned similar socks." But it just isn't possible to say that an article of clothing produced in the millions every year could definitively belong to one person. And why would searchers have tracking dogs key on found socks rather than items known to have belonged to the missing person?
@mikebond6328
@mikebond6328 Жыл бұрын
Someone losing a similar sock in the search area during a search would be less likely than it belonging to the person missing.
@angusvansatriani784
@angusvansatriani784 Жыл бұрын
That's a great point! Yes, if the sock (or whatever) has a particular pattern then it seems reasonable to assume it's the missing child's. But why take any chances in this situation? Why not be 100% sure and get the child's possession from the parents? That way there's no doubt. So painful. My heart goes out to the parents.

30:05 regarding poor Yuki… I’ve read that there is still a good amount of human trafficking that occurs throughout Asia… could the child have fallen victim to an abduction by helicopter? What happened to Phillip happened to me and my friend. I wrote the story below. A place I’ve hiked hundreds of times with two clear trails. We got lost which is impossible and came out no where near the trail entrances and had to walk 10 miles on a road to back to the park where the car was parked. The fact that he is from Ireland and there were so many fae like things in the woods we felt like we had been transported from a. Clearly naked and worn trail deep into state owned and protected woods. Weber tried to find how we got lost and we can’t figure it out. We found teepees made of sticks. Stacked balanced smooth river rocks 6 feet high and hallow trees so large you could sit inside the tree. I never believed in fae or fairies until then.

Creepy Idea: What if the FOUND children....arent actually the children that went missing? Instead, its a sophisticated copy that was sent back to collect data (consciously or unconsciously) for extra terrestrials to study our habits, behaviors, moods and emotional states and get a better understanding of humans and how we tick. Its really not THAT far-fetched...humans have done similar things with animals in the wild (like a robotic baby bird with a camera in it -or a robotic chimpanzee baby in a blanket). Humans do the SAME things to animals that extraterrestrials do to humans! Imagine the wild bobcat that was sedated and had a tracking device embedded in it's body. If he could speak he would say "I was suddenly in the presence of the tall ones and they made me go to sleep.....when I woke up....there were bright white lights around me....a strange smell that I cannot describe....and then when I woke up again....i was back home in the forest....feeling....different..." 😱

Great compilation, really enjoyed it. The case of the 2 year old little girl, I think is defo a third party involvement and of a horrific type! The conclusion that she died of the elements is just ludicrous! So she removed her clothes, folded them nice and neat and then just laid down to die! Really? Nah! Many sa cases have seen the perpetrator remove the victims clothes and fold them neatly. The authorities didn’t want to admit that a crime had taken place and knowing that they were a month behind in terms of clues etc, just didn’t want the hassle of having to persue it! Lazy! Just so sad for the family as I think you are right about them being desperate to believe that the little girl was their little girl. Even more sad is that she too ended up passing away! 😢 Great work on this video. ❤

Giving fae vibes. I was never a believer until I went hiking a place I’ve been hiking SINCE I was a kid. Hundreds of times. I go with my best friend who is from Ireland. Two clear trails. We get lost for 8 hours and come out on a street no where near the huge park. You can’t get lost on this hike. But it’s like we entered a parallel entrance into the woods and someone was playing tricks on us laughing. Many strange fairy rings, teeepees made of sticks, and balanced rock sculptures 6-8 feet high and huge Hallowed out trees. The name of the place ? DEVILS HOPYARD. Devil doesn’t creep me out. Hopyard reminds me of a place fae would play.

For example, having someone walk along the initial scent trail and then walk across the field. It would be a good way to see if there is something about that field that potentially interrupted the scent trail.

Chris disappearance seems he was very likely killed and the boots found in different locations indicate he had been stripped of his clothing and he attempted at one point to get away and caught losing his boot while getting away a second time but caught and killed. I cant help but wonder how many black crew members were working with him that day.

I live in Squamish and remember when Tyler went missing. The RCMP Sergeant in command of the Squamish RCMP detachment retired a few years later. A reporter asked him if he had any regrets about his time in Squamish. His response? 'Not finding Tyler.' It was everyone involved in the search, that they should have found him.

So hear me out This will sound like a crazy theory until you put the pieces together Chris the worker I think got caught in a trap Once you step in the trap it yanks you as far as you want your prey to go He stepped in the trap it flipped him upside down and than knocked him out cold because he hit his head immediately before he even knew what happened He got pulled by the trap many of yards away and dragged through a bunch of crap By the time he was at the end of the trap he was dead because he hit so many trees fences and what not and if not dead than absolutely messed up The first workers step over the trap or didn't trigger it properly I've heard this story in less detail now that I heard the whole story I truly believe this is what happened Where the trap took him and why it took him I don't know ......maybe the trap wasn't set for a human but I find this hard to believe considering where he sprung the trap This would explain his content of items where he disappeared and why the clothing items was in the odd places they was at

No. He would have screamed, there would have been sounds of commotion, blood where he was continually hitting his head on rocks/terrain as you imply, a path of disturbance where he had been dragged. Interesting theory but highly unlikely.

Makes me wonder these videos one i think kids who are scared and their adrenaline is pumping can travel way farther than the professionals think . Another thing how accurate are the dogs are actually picking up the exact scent they are trying to find. What temperature does the thermal imaging pick up if the person is cold their body temp mught drop so low they do not get a read on them . Also to a child light helicopter and the sound of dogs and people yelking for them probably scares the hell out of the lost child and they are running away not towards the noise . Very interesting and sad video very well done.

I don’t know about y’all, but if I’m in the country rugged enough for barb wire fences, I’m not going to voluntarily remove my footwear. It hurts to run in fields in sock feet or bare feet. You want sturdy shoes, if not boots. Or you don’t get far.

Anybody but me immediately suspect the co-workers on the survey team when Chris went missing? Since it was only their word that he vanished suddenly. If there was an argument amongst them that turned deadly, they'd never tell anybody the truth. That seems the most likely scenario to me.

Months ago, this last winter or fall, a young woman went missing in a rural/wilderness area. Forgot which. She was found alive but without her boots. I was hoping they'd ask her what she did with them. Prosaically, all I can think of is that these people are lost and walking a long time and their feet swell up and they take off their boots to ease the discomfort.

Yeah nothing you or I could detect I suppose, but a dog's snout is really quite amazing. I suppose it's quite similar to the idea that we can see colours far more clearly and varied than dogs can. Though that's probably not the best example because I'm colourblind 😂

Ummm. Don't you have to hold a water bottle? Like,with your hands? Unless you know how to levitate one without touching it, I would imagine wrapping your hand around a water bottle would give dogs a heck of a scent. Our hands are pretty dirty...

The post was interesting, a little heavy on lost toddlers and small children, stories kind of more of the same, so would request more variety in future. Was most puzzled by your accent. Have never heard another quite like it. Of course, sounds British, but your pronunciation of vowels is very different and I can’t place it at all.

Search dogs are actually successful most of the time. Studies have shown a success rate of 75%+ depending on the geography (I actually think it's even higher then that when we're talking about a body because of the potent odour that follows.) The problem here is that I specifically go out searching for the ones that fail so if you've been here for awhile, that might be why
@hardver8855
@hardver8855 Жыл бұрын
@@MissingVoidTVyeah like, if the success rate is that high or higher ( 80%), you deliberately choose cases where search dogs failed to detect and follow a smell because it is odd for them not to find the scent. It is more mysterious because the q is , why the dogs didnt find the smell and tracked it.
