So from someone who practices in the ocult, she could have had some kind of premonition, or maybe she saw you had some kind of attachment? I dont think she was trying to curse you, unless she was asking for things like your date of birth, and your full name. A lot of people believe that if you give those things to a witch, they can use it to control or curse you. Time of birth, and moon phase seems more like she was trying to figure out your sign, she could have been an astrologist ( it's much different than the horoscopes you can find in magazines) the bracelet could have been something for protection, if it was iron, its believed that it protects you from evil spirits and fairies. So I don't think she ment you any harm, but it is still pretty strange no matter how you look at it.

No it's not like that, not all stolen dimonds or jewelry becomes cursed. It's just in India most of these very attractive looking diamonds and jewels were cursed by ancient people, and so whoever who gets into the trap by getting attract to the jewel the curse passes on to them. And mostly crused because these jewels or dimonds were stolen from temples and probably these dimonds were as gifts to hindu gods and goddesses. So each dimond you find in some ancient temple in india has some dark mystery
