Thanks for concatenating some remarkable pronunciation lessons. Your right about squirrel. In Bavaria (part of Germany) the tail of a squirrel is a famous language test for Northern Germans. They can't pronunce the Bavarian „Oachkatzlschwoaf“, meaning Eichkatzlschweif or tail of a squirrel.. A common word difficult to pronunce for me is „literally“, especially when I repeat it three- or fourtimes.

Hi there! I have a question for you. Why do I have trouble understanding what the actors are saying in english TV shows? I can understand what they are saying when they speak a bit slowly. But I'm unable to understand them when they start talking faster. I Can understand you perfectly well while watching your videos and other native English speakers when listening to audiobooks. And I have been learning english for almost 2 years and 5 months, spending majority of my time listening to english. How long will it take me to understand 100% of what the characters say in english tv shows and movies just as i can understand almost everything the people are saying in my own native language?
@USM_Pro4 ай бұрын
You definitely will achieve progress. Keep it up. Same in your native language you don't understand 100% what they say depending on the vocabulary that is used. When it comes to some specific topic oriented movies you always gonna have a hard time getting what they are saying.
