What human can be so perfect that he never misbehaves? Can't we still have the spirit of Christ? It sounds like very few will be welcome in heaven. I am a sinner in need of a Savior and that Savior is Christ the Lord. Try as I may I can never be perfect in this life. I keep believing and asking forgiveness. Isn't that what I am supposed to do? I love Jesus and I don't want to be left behind because I couldn't measure up. Shalom.

Part of their culture is that if someone gives you a compliment , you would respond not with Thank You, but instead Baruch HaShem. Basically Baruch HaShem means Bless the Lord. In other words, all glory or honor goes to God. And so to you I say , “Baruch HaShem”. God is so Good! Thank you for your kind words, they are an encouragement to my soul.

What should I do when a homeless person asks for money when I know they're a drug user? It's a high chance the money will go on drugs which hurt them n not food? As I know they get free food from a local charity. (I'm partly involved with this charity).

If that’s the case, then it’s fine to lie, murder, commit adultery, steal, etc. God gives us instruction in the Old Testament how to live before Him and mankind. Not going to argue with you here. Will not reply to your further comments.

@@sheiladale6802 Fine, don't reply, but your statement is extremely flawed. Do people who are Christlike do all of those sins? NO! Your statement ignores the reality of sanctification by the Holy Spirit. The law of Moses was Christlikeness in the temporary form of a legal code. That legal code spelled out what Christlikeness is like in the form of regulations. Why was the law powerless to save? Because it was external to us. The law only regulated outward behavior and it did not transform our hearts. It was a shadow that pointed to the reality of the transforming power of sanctification. Now that we have the Holy Spirit making us Christlike from our hearts, we no longer need that temporary shadow. Christians are not under the law of Moses.
