This, for my money, was the best game of the tournament. After that incredible first game in Bloomington, the stakes were even higher - UK out for revenge, IU out to repeat. And the play on both sides was incredible - IU played probably as well as we could have, and we STILL lost by 12. UK got their toughest test of the tourney - and came through with a performance that would beat lesser NBA teams on a given night. Damned impressive - and I'm a Hoosier fan.

@@hobsonschoice8649 , Go back and look at the replay of the game earlier in the season in December, 2011 at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, and Kentucky had one of, if not the poorest offensive performance they'd had all season. They weren't making outside shots, they weren't making free throws, they fell behind Indiana by 10 points late in the 2nd-half, and with all that it still took Watford hitting a "hail Mary, full of grace, the lord is with thee" 25 or 30 footer at the buzzer to beat the Cats that night. Unfortunately for Indiana, they ran into a much more accurate reflection of how good this Kentucky team really was here in the Sweet Sixteen in "Catlanta".

Another team that milks the foul game was Syracuse, particularly when they trail with 2 minutes to go. They'll put you at the free throw line, hoping that you miss at least 1 of 2, then they try to jack up threes as an attempt to cut it. Had Syracuse faced Kentucky, they would have not been successful, because whether they were Scoop or Dion trying to jack up threes, the Cats would've been ready to deny them.

The reason Jones had more dunks and oops is because he is 5 or so inches taller. That has nothing to do with who can jump higher. Thats why MKG having the higher vertical means he is more explosive athletically. Jones is much more versatile then MKG and can do more on the court. MKG is faster. MKG is not lacking skill wise, he was drafted number 2. They did not draft him that high on hustle alone. I agree though that overall Jones has more talent.
