May God raise a Asa in our families. The one who will always follow God's will even if people before him did all the wrong things against God, he still kept God's laws🙏 Thank you for the time you put in these videos, they are really helping me. Love from South Africa ❤ God bless you and your family.

"[Asa] took away the sodomites out of the land & removed all the idols that he fathers had made." {-1Kings 15:12}

This verse is what brought me here. The NKJV says..."he banished the perverted persons.." My thought was does perverted mean what I *think it means*? Evidently it does.

@@DK-cd8og "Perverted" could refer to more than one thing - adultery, incest, animals, etc.- even just general immorality or amorality. But the standard Bible, the KJB, specifies the sodomites several times in 1 Kings.

Yes, that really stood out to me!! I was so thankful to read in verse 11 that King Asa …”did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, as did David his father!”

@@1LovedbyHim - Yes, I was going to include that verse, but thought it made the post too long. Anyway, that's a wonderful chapter - often overlooked. Thanks for your reply ...
