The KZbin algo has been doing a good job recommending smaller KZbinrs. This looks to be another decent channel. Subscribed.

I really like the story telling and the compositin in your videos. They are informative and inspiring. I went to Japan last summer, but had the opportunity to visit only Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. I will definitely go back again and again.

awesome idea to shine the spotlight on setouchi! i've always wanted to explore the area (went to hiroshima/kure/takehara a few years ago and loved them all to bits) so i'm really looking forward to more videos about this!

Yo, we are in japan right now. Followed all of ur tips from getting off of KIX to Osaka. And buying 1 day subway & bus pass (they look different now) in Kyoto. We're having a smooth trip right now. Thanks you, goated

This is one of the only vlogs I've seen of someone covering the Setouchi area. We're doing a comparable route but we've bought the Sanyo-Sanin-North Kyushu Pass, and its stretched over two weeks instead of one to be less rushed. Excited to see the next vid!

Yeah it's really not the most popular tourist destination but very very breathtaking nontheless. Very wise on doing the trip in two weeks instead of one. But the coverage of your pass is quite a bit larger so do be extra careful when pacing your trip.

Thank you, man. I saw some pictures of Matsuyama and fell in love. I used to plan visit it for about 2 days as a small trip from Osaka, but now I start thinking about discovering some more western cities

Okay, I cheated. I just watched your episode 5 in this series so I kinda know the outcome. Just wanted to comment that your content is a refreshing change from the "Must See Favorites" video made by people who stay in Japan 1 day. More comments to come.

Can't judge you on maximazing JR Pass mileage, I just did it with JR East Pass Nagano Niigata 😁

Will. There is a question nobody answers ever. With Kyoto crowds that are worst than ever, Will, how, just how, can we find a place to eat in the evening ?
@Will_Zhao10 ай бұрын
Ha, I do actually have something good to recommend. There's a whole floor of restaurants and eateries at B1F Kyoto Station in an area called Kyoto Prota Dining. There are tons of options to choose from, sushi, okonomiyaki, yakitori, ramen, western food, you name it. But do avoid dinner hours or the queues can get quite long.

Which bus did you take from Matsuyama to Onomichi? I know the video will come, but it will probably be too late, since im doing the same trip next week just in reverse.
@Will_Zhao7 ай бұрын
Sorry I'm really slow at editting.🥲 I didn''t take a bus from Matsuyama to Onomichi. I had to go to Imabari first to take the Shimanami Liner highway bus to '因島重井BS', then walked for a minute or two to '運動公園入口' and switch for a Onomichi local bus.

@@Will_Zhao Thx a bunch. And dont worry about upload frequency. I think your videos are super well made. They are so clear and to the smallest detail. Its like beeing taken by hand everywhere 😁

Too rush , 7 days to go to many places . Save your times but do it in longer trip 3-4 weeks each time you visit japan .
@Will_Zhao6 ай бұрын
You have no idea how much I wish I could do longer trips as you've suggested.
