Want to just say congratulations to Bryce for jumping over about 60 spots over the season to become the #1 ranked QB in the country on the ESPN top 300. I can't remember the last time a California QB was #1 on ESPN rankings because of the east coast bias mostly based on the time difference, our games start at 10 or 1030 p.m. east coast time. But because Mater Dei played a national schedule and played a game on ESPN they were actually forced to scout Bryce.

@K Will I'm talking about the ESPN 300. Not rivals or 24/7. JT was not because he came out with Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields who were tied in the rankings with the same grade. I look at 24/7 mostly because this is all they do but to say it's because he's at Alabama is a stretch since Alabama has never in it's history had the #1 ranked QB in the ESPN 300. I think it helped because it forced them to have to research him more because he was going to Alabama but the ESPN game on national TV is what shot him up a week after he took apart St Francis.

Looked this up in MaxPreps This is the average national ranking of each teams opponents #1. MD. 280 #2. Bosco. 180 #3. Duncanville. 3400 Are you serious. 3400 and you are proud of that.
