Ok, so the thing is.. With the total freak out over Ariel's skin color being changed, everyone should have seen this coming. In the original animated movie the description of her and why her name is Snow White is literally “Lips red as the rose, hair black as ebony, skin white as snow" of all the princesses.. this is the one that really couldn't be changed. And is one of the three unchangeable Disney characters out of them all. Snow White, Pocahontas, and Tarzan

Honestly the best thing they could do with this film is admit they did bad and then intentionally market it as a flop to encourage the haters to go and watch it and bond over how bad it is. Own it and the community would love them for it completely reversing the brand damage

There’s a saying that says “put your best foot forward”. It means “to behave very well in order to gain someone's approval”. That someone is the audience. Rachel did not do that, and because of that Rachel has tarnished her image and character. Not even an apology tour can fix something that is severely damaged. Only time can fix it. For example, when Will Smith slapped the crap out of Chris Rock on stage, it didn’t hinder his chances in making movies. Although it meant that he has been banned from motion picture academy and related events for 10 years, he still makes movies. With Rachel Zegler, she can still be a cast in future movies, but her attitude towards the movie itself, and her attitude in general, has to change.
