The initial reactions on this weren't great were they, but I love a fragrance that takes time to get know! Good to see it get the Jon Legg thumbs up 👍. The one I'm really interested in trying is the One Million Golden Oud. Have you had your snout on that one?

Since this is a video about a paco rabanne fragrance, I really like invictus victory and I was thinking about of buying victorioso victory by maison alhambra. Everyone seems so split on the fragrance some same victorioso victory(nero) is only 50% like invictus victory and way more spicy and not as sweet. Would you agree with this? I really like invictus victory especially the killer vanilla in it.

Well my friend, nice to hear that you share the same passion for Invictus victory…incense, amber…and as you say ’killer vanilla’🥳….honestly the Maison Alhambra Nero is a very satisfying clone….so too is the fragrance world Invicto victory….both have awesome performance and both are close enough to the OG that you will not be disappointed…..trust me….(and I am a massive fanboy of the OG victory) best wishes from JL

​​​@@JONLEGG I ended up buying it and I have mixed feelings. The opening is quite a bit more spicy and and synthetic then the OG and takes longer to settle, but the dry down is quite similar. I just smell more citrus and spice in victorioso nero than I do in the real thing. For 20 bucks I can't really complain. It's a toned down sweetness and strength wise, but more spicy and citrus. The fragrance batch says September 2023 so maybe it spoiled? However I doubt it and think it just needs a little maceration. Overall it's a good fragrance just a little too spicy base and synthetic opening for my liking but hopefully it will change in a month or two!
