I think the spear is in a perfect spot where it is. It instills the right amount of fear in people from getting speared into multi.

I don't use the spear and I think it's fine where its at. I remember it used to be even more op in a focusers hands, you could spear people right before a freeze was over to refreeze them again. 😆

Personally I don’t think the spear should be nerfed. Yes it’s very strong, but it does require some skill and strategy to use, and like you said I can’t see how they could nerf it without making it too weak (increasing spec to 50% could work idk). But can you imagine the hissy fit Reddit would throw if they did nerf it 💀

Yeah I know what you mean I'm not complaining I think Pvmers deserve to escape considering the types of players they are up against. I can see both sides so I understand it's controversial.

@@tgkun4815 Yeah for sure. Another side of the d spear you didn’t mention is its use in multi luring, which imo is pretty cringe and should be nerfed. But again, no way to do that without also nerfing it for escaping.

Reddit would love it to be nerfed and for no good reason at that. Iirc they did make changes to it a few years ago. Personally I’m not in favor of a change the diagonal spears have made it interesting

Usually a ring of wealth but when going against bigger teams I might use the ring of suffering imbued. I aint done dt2 but ring of shadows is also a good one to bring

To be fair, dark bow or ballista wiith throwing axe could one shot someone making the spear useless in that scenario. Yes, i know you have an ely on for the grind, but lets be real 99% of players in rev caves are not bringing a spear.
