Having a goal will direct you. The other thing you should do, is not skip the basics. Looping constructs, arithmetic operators, and other boring sounding stuff are what any program is made from. Complex ideas are made of simple functions.

Now the snake program I built doesnt learn nearly as well (or really at all.... its impossible. ai cant predict fake jumps. plus it would be insane to program each gamemode individually. its just easier to use gdbot (you can program the bot to click where it needs to).
