Please Please Please please please please make a video on phasing issues (and how to detect phasing issues by SPAN analyser)

Small tip. Voxengo also has a free plugin called Voxengo Correlometer which checks out of phase elements in your mix

Good video as always, Jon. Would you do a step by step tutorial on how an indie producer gets a track to spodify, itunes, tidal, etc. Thanks in advance.

Hey Jon! Thanks for these reviews, as always. I'm curious about your settings for the Span analyzer -- can you share?

Quick question for the kicks, since all of this tracks except the last one, got their kick peaking on 40hz. Is it common in house, i heard something around peaking at 100hz one time, but i'm not sure if this is right? I'm producing hardcore and we usually got our kicks peaking at 60hz with a big range from 40hz-110hz. Where do you have your kicks?

@@wtsuser You still know which one? Would like to hear the whole part of why
@Draber2b5 жыл бұрын
Picking over 80 Hz (sometimes even 100 Hz) is common in drum'n'bass and maybe jungle (usually the sub is really heavy).
@monkeyselektah5 жыл бұрын
@@Draber2b Yea i discovered that too, for example a neurofunk bass is made the same like our basses in Hardcore, we usually got the whole frequence spectrum with several layers, in most cases 2-3, for sub, mids and highs
@Draber2b5 жыл бұрын
@@monkeyselektah I didn't heard about 3 layers. Maybe once in a tutorial Martjin from Noisia showed a bassline having a thierd layer (high mids and highs copied from the bass and pasted in a diffrrent track

Hey Jon! just wondering why you always say you can't show the songs you're working on? Especially in the case of this video. I mean you see artists like martin garrix teasing even rough projects sometimes on snapchat and stuff like that even though it might later turn into a collab with someone else or something like that.
