My best friend started locs yesterday and said she watched this video with you washing your starter locs. I said, “she’s no longer loc’d.” She says, “She restarted her locs about two or three weeks ago.” I was excited!!! These set will be much fuller as you have way more locs this time around. I’m excited about your journey and will be tuning in. ❤️❤️

Your method of washing and recoiling is genius. It really takes the stress of how to maintain and wash baby locks.

I grew my 1st set out for 6 years. Was absolutely in love with them. However, i started them and my knowledge about my hair was minimal. I hated the first few months from all the friz and that is where i went wrong. So as you already know my locks started thinning. It wasnt until my 5 year mark that i started to appreciate my new growth. But the damage was done. Even combined locs were weakend at the root. I just cut them 3 days ago and restarted. My hair is shorter then yours here. Its crazy not feeling them there anymore, but im determined to do right by this set. So yes locs are low maintenance, but if you dont care for them and appreciate all the forms they take on throughout your journey. It can cost you in the long run. I love all of your videos and i thank you for them. I do have a request if possible. Can you do a video on grey locs, for i have alot more grey then when i started the first time and want to keep my hair healthy. Thanks so much❤

Hello my friend I agree with you 💯 PERCENT you don't have to tell anyone your personal business in why I'm just thankful for what you do share with us I had to start again my loc's with "Taliah Waalid "called lock it up and so far it's working out just fine but it's only been 1 month for me I'm so proud of myself but I still haven't found that oil "Morning" so I guess I will find it soon continue doing what you was blessed to do and that was hair ps what shampoo do you use I haven't washed my hair yet but I do know Taliah Waalid is making money lol sending love to the family 💋

I had some what freeform locs i did the sponge method but i kept them like retwisteed to the root (did it bymyself because there is noone to retwist my locs in the state i live in) and i recently combed each loc out and retwisted to give it a neater and more coiled look. I managed to go an entire week without washing/ wetting my hair because my scalp was itching but i merely washed the sides of my head where i could without getting and shampoo into my locs.. by the end i was fustrated and i just rinsed cold water on my head to get rid of all the soap and i found out that whenever i rinsed my head with cold water my hair would maintain shape better than hot water. Either way my hair is kinda frizzy ( thats why i redone my hair because i didnt like all the frizz it gave me) and i have just big and small hair kinda sticking out, not as bad as it used to be but it just annoys me. will the slowly go back into each loc or will the remain frizzy and will i have to do maintenence on them. cause i would like to just leave my hair as is and hope the frizzyness goes down
