Your family is so lovely it made me cry 😢 It made me look at adoption a whole new different angle. Am quite surprised that he would sleep alone because korean toddlers normally sleep with his parents until they're six or seven...I would say that his foster parents trained him for a bit!

Hi there! So much progress in just one month! Chewbacca! The most essential words first, lol! Hannah remembers her first car seat ride home from the airport, when she famously “screamed her fool head off”! Hiding candy is common among kids who have been through institutions or other childhood trauma and transitions. It supposedly gives them “control” over an important aspect of their life, food, and gives them a feeling of ownership of something. They’ll get over that at some point. You have to let them know that you know that they are doing it. Looking forward to the next update. This brings back many memories. I wish we had filmed our updates.
