I agree, bro. Yellowcard, Sugarcult, MCR, New Found Glory, Autopilot Off, Fall Out Boy. This era of pop-punk/emo/alt rock was amazing. I wish this style of music came back into popularity. In my opinion, the alternative rock and pop-punk genres of the early 2000s are classics. I really hope people look back on this music like we do with bands like Pink Floyd, ACDC, The Ramones, Led Zepplin, etc. If you can't tell, I'm having a nostalgia episode. Lol

I grew up with this game on PlayStation 2, and I'd occasionally listen to this soundtrack when I'd drive. Seeing the music tracks come back after being deleted is a miracle

We're so lucky that we witnessed and played this game. Even though racing games today were kinda mediocre to kinda fun nowadays, nothing is compared to Burnout and should not be ignored. Especially the soundtracks featured in every Burnout games, more importantly, Burnout 3. Like damn. 44 tracks? Plus there's these bands that are now popular years later? From Fall Out Boy, Yellowcard, My Chemical Romance, Finger Eleven, New Found Glory, Rise Against etc.. If this game was released today, man, imagine the sales of EA when they do it... this game is truly a fantastic racing game. It's sad that EA was not taking attention to it though. :(

Dude same here! Burnout 3's soundtrack is seared into my memory. So nostalgic. I must have burned (ha!) hundreds and hundreds of hours worth in this game back in the day. Had no internet at home and the only way I could listen to songs I liked was from the games I owned or if I got a CD for my birthday or Christmas. Seems like a lifetime ago at 32 y/o now. Good times.

This game was my childhood man. To this day the only game i've 100% completed. The problem is though no other (non Burnout) arcade racer even comes close to the sheer spectacle and fun of this game. The closest ones being Split/Second and the FlatOut series imo. I would keep going back to complete Burnout 3 but I've played it to the point where it almost effortless. 😆 If anyone has recommendations for solid arcade racers similar to Burnout, let me know (yes I know of "Dangerous Driving" but i wasn't a fan of their game "Danger Zone" so im hesitant. Plus I've heard it doesnt have music.)

@@RedlineGTR I've thought about Ridge Racer, every time I found a copy of Ridge Racer Type 4 online though it's been pretty expensive. Also I have the original Ridge Racer, which is kinda mid tbh. But so is Burnout 1 so I can't really judge it off of that.
