I just watched it 2 days ago for the first time. I don't know what advice I should give you 'cause, you know, it was really sad and I start tearing up just thinking about it (that wasn't helpful), but you will have to watch it at some point. There are things that become more meaningful in Matt's Doctor after you see it.

As a YANK..who has been watching Dr. Who since the late 1970's I LOVE the show, and because it isn't "popular" in the typical sense here in the US is the best part of it. Heck, before the last 6 seasons it wasn't even a hour show, and was probably only made into that format to better fit with US television. I don't know what events they have in the UK but i'm sure they will have access to the Dr. Who clips as well :) know..there are thousands and hundreds of thousands of Yanks that love Dr. Who!

They've said it's not 100% opposite directions (for example, in Let's Kill Hitler they're both younger than they are in the beginning of Wedding of River Song, so they met in the right order..) It's just generally scrambled up - as it would be if you time travel (what are the chances of meeting other time travellers in the RIGHT order?) and generally going the opposite way.

Comic-Con doesn't allow any filming of footage shown on the projection screens. Anyone caught filming is thrown out of the panel.

You know what Steven Moffat would say, if he would and whether it made sense or not: River married the Doctor, so she would have changed her last name to the Doctor's last name. So although she still is a Pond, she also isn't.

Finally everyone giving love to Rory! I love him!!!! and David Tennant is my doctor but after watching SMith I am quite lost sometimes on whose better I say they are both Awesome and Amy is the best companion although Donna was pretty hilarious I wish Dr Who would air until we figure out how to "travel" through space or clone humans or find aliens so for many more generations to come

We have star trek and star wars, those are about the only things that have kept on going as long if not longer than doctor who has. We have tons of that stuff barely any who stuff over here. In the UK though you guys have like fuckin museums and whole toys stores and shit. US you usually have to buy it off a website or something
