Why does George ask so many *painfully* awkward questions? This was miserable. Even sweetheart Emilia was visibly uncomfortable, and Alfie was clearly irritated with the stupid questions. And George constantly asks about sex. Grow up. He is starting to turn into the pervy vicar! (Or the nerd kid in high school everyone avoided)

Those would be the security personnel. Specifically in this case they are the guys dressed in black suits who are sent by the studios to prowl the hall looking for people who try to record movie clips. They were gathered to the right of the hall prepping for the next panels which were sreen gems and sony movies.. So they weren't even there for GoT.Most of the security are pretty cool/considerate. But others at times not so much.

Of course it is. It's a great show that can only be watched legally by people willing to pay a sizable monthly fee. I understand the whole draw of HBO is the lack of censoring or advertisements, but I'd gladly watch ads to legally watch every uncensored episode.

We tried to get them to quiet down but it didn't help much. I probably won't be shooting from that side of hall h anymore. Too busy in that area. On the following day I switched over to the other side thats why you see my Hobbit, Man of Steel etc panel vids being shot from the left which I have to say I like better for a couple of reasons.

Which is probably the strength of George's work but also the writing of David and Dan, who have really help bring to life the world on screen not to mention Gemma Jackson's production values. I've seen Martin and he's seems nice, congenial and passionate, yet people always seem to call him a creep. Whether it's Sadie Doyle and her essay lambasting nerd culture or people on Westeros.org, is it because of the content of the book with the gratutious nudity, sex and rape or the violence.

Am I the only one who thinks Martin has a lot of repressed sexual issues? I found that-particularly in books 4&5-the sex seemed to take center stage over all other aspects of the story arcs to the point of banality. Maybe Martin needed to get laid so that he wasn't so damn obsessed with sex. also in book 4 he mentioned that he "just kept writing and writing" and felt he had too much to say to put it in one book and decided to write a fifth as a result.
