My god what a beautiful Buick. The Ultra was a super premium upgrade from the Park Avenue. When they came out I was driving a 1990 Caprice Classic LS Brougham and even then- the Ultra was unobtainable because of the price. We’ve had several Buicks in my family and they were always superior cars. I’m looking for a Buick for my next vehicle- Park Ave is top of my list.

These Ultras are fairly easy to find in the Southwest. LOTS of old people with a few bucks bought them. And they don't rust here. The reason I moved to AZ was to get rid of the rust problems with cars in the midwest.

Awesome! I love these Park Avenues!! I had a '99 (in maroon) and a 2005 Special Edition Ultra (in black) that I miss very much. Those handles were notorious for breaking. I had the driver's side handle break on my '99 PA and then the passenger's side went on my '05. Glad you resoldered the climate control display! Had to do the same on both my cars. Seems like a shoddy design across the board by GM. Can't beat the gas mileage. Loved the huge sedan with surprisingly great MPG's! Those 3800's were outstanding. My Ultra got a little less MPGs... I suspect it was the fun I often had with the supercharger... :)

Wow, love it. Bought my 2004 Ultra in 2020. Best thing I've ever done. It looks exactly like your featured car. It comes out of storage for three months out of the year for car shows. Yes it still turns heads and many people would love to own one. Whoever buys yours will be very lucky to have it. Keep up the good work.

Anthony, good call on not correcting some of the, what I feel, are minor imperfections. Door handle, bumper cover scrapes, floppy ashtray cover, etc are not as important as having a safe, serviced car that the Average Joe can afford and get a few years out of. Keep ‘em coming like this when you find them.👍 Best to Papa Bear!

Anthony - alot 1:11 of those marks on the rims I believe are the results of metal wheel weights being put on the outside of the rim instead of on the inside like they do on todays cars. Probably didn’t have plastic weights back in the late 1990’s - 2000’s. Beautiful car non the less!😊

They ARE rare! Especially in that condition. You guys did good! Gorgeous! Now that's a car! The price...I think if you repainted the door handle and the other paint issues it would be worth the asking price. At least the door handle...Small issue details are everything. The interior is perfect! The heated seats are a huge problem child in these cars. The wires are too thin on the elements. Those are the only things that don't work on my 03 lesabre celebration edition pga golf tour edition. THOSE are rare! When you opened the hood, you should have praised the best engine gm ever made.

Love these Park Avenue's!! Ultra's kinda scare me with the supercharger, but supposedly that's been just as solid as the 3.8L v6. Mostly "noise" issues related to bad tensioners. Which if done quickly, does not cause a problem and it's a cheap fix. That's the theme I hear with these LeSabres/Park Avenue's...."cheap fix" meaning these cars are not expensive to maintain, but can easily run 200k or more miles. This entry Anthony....WOW! It is wicked purdy!! From what I see on others (Yes, there ARE others like this out there), it is competitively priced given the condition as well as reputation of Specialty Motor Cars. Again, I'm not in a position to pick this beauty up, but someone will get a great deal!

After the Cadillac from Chicago; I can't wait for the day Anthony and his dad manage to snag a Buick Lucerne or a late 90s Buick Riviera. One reason being the fact that the Buick Lucerne has windshield washer fluid that can be heated up to 149 degrees; perfect for those snowy winter days. Now a Buick Riviera from the late 90s is a true head-turner due to its rather curvaceous exterior styling.

Gorgeous car. Love these Buicks. Great video. The only thing about this one is that I would guess that the left driver's door was hit at some point; seems like there are some telltale signs visible in your video beyond just the mismatched paint. Things like uneven panel gap at front of the driver's door; broken jam & rubber, etc. But: still a really nice car.

Hi Anthony: My Father had a 1982 Buick Park Avenue. It was Sage green, with a darker shade of green vinyl top, and a sage green "velour" interior. The car was a thing of beauty, with great lines, and the Buick spoked wheel covers. I'm sorry to say, that the Park Avenue in this video actually put me to sleep. It looks like a giant egg 🙂Buick went downhill, in my opinion. Thanks anyway, John.

Obviously not serviced by the factory recall fire notice. All cars with the Series II and III supercharged L67/L26 have a recall for fire, maybe even non-supercharged too. I still get the recall card from my local GM dealer for my car (2000 GTP) but refuse to take it as I have NO trust in the "stealerships", I do all my own work. The recall replaces the front valve cover and gasket, and removes the plastic engine cover. The NEW valve cover is black, and if you see the original gray cover, it means the recall service has not been performed.

Grandkids must have ridden in the backseat. I remember riding in my aunt and uncle's '60 Impala. We had to sit quietly with our hands on our laps. If any of us kicked the front seat, lowered the windows of if my aunt heard the creak from one of us opening the ashtrays then none of us would get an ice cream or McDonalds. LOL! That car was pristine when they traded it in for a '72 Impala Custom Coupe. Great memories! This is a beautiful car. I recently purchased a garage kept, LeSabre Custom with 88k miles from the original elderly owner who's know me since I was a child. One of my best car purchases ever!

I own this very model in the same color. Put $3500 into brakes, shocks, front stabilizer bar. Handled and rode like new. Next day, from out of nowhere, clobbered a deer. Insurance cut me a check for repair, using book price of new hood, grill, labor. Called their recommended shop and made the appointment to have her repaired. Waited 2 months for the appointment and shop called me the day before to cancel. Can't get Ultra parts. Called insurance back to have her totaled - you see a number of 20 year old Park Aves in scrap yards with less damage than mine. Insurance closed my new claim without speaking with me; twice. Hunted down the GM Parts Direct site looking at parts interchangeability - no indicator on their site whether the base and ultra hoods were interchangeable - but looked to me like the only difference was the ornament hole on the base. An Ultra has a medallion on the grill in lieu of a hole. Tracked down a base Park Ave, bought it sight unseen and had it delivered. Bronze. Swapped the hood, grill, headlight and headlight bracket. Planning to have it painted to match and install the hood ornament or a chrome plug in the hole. It's a car worth keeping. The one is our "Pearl" the other is the "Parts Avenue". They don't make 'em like that any more. PS - didn't see the overhead controls in front of the mirror ... looks like Onstar mirror, mine has garage door opener and heads-up display. Great place to lose your sunglasses! ;^)

Damn this is cool find -if I had an extra 12K in my couch I'd be pestering you on the phone about it already. Had a regular but well equipped pearl white 2000 Park Ave years ago -was my favorite of all the vehicles I've ever owned, and some nice cars at that! Stacked a ridiculous amount of trouble free miles on it, I highly recommend these -they are almost impossible to kill. But almost impossible to find now too -Ultra's or not. A little while ago I was very lucky to grab a clean 04 Lesabre Limited with 50K miles (heads up display even) and that car kicks ass in all the same ways that Park Ave did. Plan on keeping it for as long as I can before EVs shit all over us 🙂. Someone will get an awesome driver here.

Wowzers I bought my (at the time 49k mile) 2004 Buick Park Avenue out of southern California. Such an amazing road car! I drove mine home from San Diego to the beautiful PNW. Mine also is the gorgeous pearl white! Only option mine doesn't have is a sunroof. That was a bummer, cause I used the sunroof in my 330k mile '98 Regal all the time. I love the HUD on mine for sure! I like the leather seats in the Ultras better, but my standard leather seats are definitely very comfortable! I bet that car has the rain sensing wipers. My '04 does, and it's a cool feature. I get compliments on my Park Avenue, as they are nice big beautiful cruisers. My Park Avenue is almost as long as my '90 Brougham d' Elegance! I love these Buicks, and enjoy driving mine everyday. I've driven it to Montana and back to Washington 3 times, and most recently to Wyoming and back (2,280 miles and got 26.8 MPG with the air conditioning on, over mountain passes, average speed 75mph). I've put 25k miles on mine in 1.5 years! Beautiful car, that someone will enjoy. Where I work there's 4 big Buicks that I see daily (2 Lesabres, my Park Avenue, and a green Park Avenue Ultra!) I enjoyed Regina my '98 Regal, but I'm really happy about my Park Avenue (Sarah Jessica Park Avenue!)

Once upon a time and the time lasted for many generations in the 20th century, American manufacturers of many different industries took pride in producing items that were durable and quality made It is incredibly unfortunate that this car shown with its defects is indicative of the matter of " planned obsolescence " that resulted from avarice and greed for great profits that became " the norm" over the last 45 years. 😐

I worked for a Buick dealership subcontractor, auto body. In the early 2000s the Century was the Buick of choice. But a huge charge of people chose the LeSabre. In my experience the higher trim Buicks in every platform was rare in the early 2000s. I remember an aqua LeSabre Limited with a moonroof and being blown away. We never serviced a Park Avenue Ultra in this generation. And honestly I think the similarity to the LeSabre but the price jump hurt the Park Avenue. I AGREE RARE. Beautiful too.

What makes it rare is that none of the interior buttons are worn white. Everyone I see on a used car lot (even with low mileage) has terrible looking radio buttons.

A beautiful 05 Ultra Special Edition with under 50K miles just sold for a bit under $13,000. These cars are worth much more than the sum of their parts.

I would like to see a remake of the 1964 Riviera...if done right,it could be a show stopper.
