Chrysler New Yorker... About as Loaded as it gets in these Mopar Sedans. I just LOVE a K Car Especially with a 2.2 Turbo Motor. This one is like climbing in a Time Capsule its as nice as it gets seriously whoever had this car took car of it like no other and it really does show. If you are in Netherlands Europe this is a perfect car for export it is a nice Youngtimer that has a 10/1986 Build date. So check with your country anything before 1987 should be NO TAX!! Classic Cars are a LOVE of mine If you are not Subscribed make sure you do that. My website is www.1ownercargu... and You can call me anytime about these cars Nathan Wratislaw 406 544 6919 Thanks for watching and check out My other Videos there are almost 600 of them i have done on My Channel Cheers

"Don't forget your keys" ... as much as people made fun of Chrysler's VoiceAlert. preventing locking the cars in the car just once makes it worth it. Being specific is better than just a chime.

I love how you do reviews on these cool older cars that alot of people wouldnt think twice about. Most of the cars you have are from my childhood. Its great to see them in like new condition. Its like taking a trip back it time. Keep up the good work Nate!

Ah a great reminder from my childhood! My folks had one identical to that except for a blue velour interior. We named it Fred because it always bitched about the washer fluid!

I have an 1985 Turbo New Yorker with 24,000 miles on it. They are wonderful cars. As for the map light up front not lighting up on both sides with the door open, that's how it's oddly designed!

Nice car, little dings & scratches aren't important! If it looks great overall, has the 2.2 turbo and a complete service history these are a great alternative to a new $10,000 anonymous compact. Remember this is a New Yorker!

i love those 2.2 / 2.5 engines they are so easy to work on ive owned 3-4 dodge omnis / plymouth horizons with a carbureted 2.2 and one with a throttle body fuel injected 2.2 and a mini van win a tbi 2.5 . ive also owned a 1993 minivan with the mitsubishi 3.0 ltr v6 . its to bad they didnt put the v6's in the k cars they would be a very fast car a sleeper if you will. but the newyorker / lebarrons / 5th aves did finally get the v6 option when they switched from the k car platform to the acliam / dynasty /spirit platforms of the late 80's early to mid 90's when they came out with the intrepids and seabrings the new yorker lebarron and 5th aves did use the intrepid and seabring platform briefly . also the neons where new around that time and the neons replaced the kcars

Straight out of 1980s! Voice alert sounds rather throaty. Digital speedometer also a throwback to the '80s. Shows what Chrysler was able to do with just one platform: spin off many derivatives. Like Ford did with the Fox platform.

When these cars were new, I thought they looked silly and tacky. Almost 30 years later, they look pretty damn good (and how about that luxurious interior?!) compared to the over-designed, pretentious new plastic crap out there. Hope this one found a good new owner.

I always liked the look of these cars, and Chryslers in general. But their reputation for not being reliable was totally deserved. Owned a couple of 80s Chryslers, and they were good cars for their day in terms of amenities, ride quality, styling, and even performance more or less...but it was a rare month, or even week, when SOMETHING didn't break on them.

Frank Burns Ordovician them up and down the road all day long. Never had any issues. Now turbo models that was a different story or Mitsubishi 2.6 those were the trouble areas. Once carburetors wee gone everything got pretty darn bullet proof before they done making them!

At 95,000 miles. The timing belt should be replaced, Fuel Filter, Transmission Filter and Fluid change time. Water pump, power steering pump replacement is also due and a Turbo Rebuild is in order soon. I had one after 100,000 miles all that stuff is on borrowed time, as are the seals in the rack and pinion steering unit.

is this going to be your new spot for videotaping/test driving cars? in my opinion, your old spot was better. there was much less extraneous sound and also wnen it is shown in front of a second hand car lot, it feels more commercial. the test drive was better at your old spot because there was less stopping and more straight aways. find out what your other viewers think of this spot for test driving/videotaping
