Hi, Here is a compilation of my five favorite 1 potato recipes. My family loves potatoes so much and I make potato recipes almost every day! If you have 1 potato at home, try these delicious and cheap 1 potato recipes, better than fries! These potato recipes are healthy and delicious. I hope you love and make them. Delicious day! 1 potato
1tbsp water
1 clove of garlic
10g green onion
¼tsp crushed red pepper
2tbsp oil
1tbsp soy sauce
½tbsp vinegar
a pinch of white sugar
1tbsp corn starch

Chop 1 potato
Add to a bowl
Medium-low heat
Pour olive oil into a pan
Add in the potatoes
Press repeatedly
Fry for 3-5 minutes
Flip over and for another 2 minutes
Sprinkle green onion on top (optional)
Done!

I made the first recipe...sort of. These are the changes I made: 1. I didn't bother mashing the potatoes or rolling it into balls. I left it as chunks. 2. The sauce is: 1 clove of garlic 1/2 tbsp green onion 1/4 tsp red chili flakes 2 tbsp hot oil 1 tbsp soy sauce 1/4 tbsp vinegar Pinch of white sugar I had a shallot that I needed to use, so I diced it up in place of the green onion. I think any kind of sweeter onion would work. I also used apple cider vinegar, which seemed to impart a sweeter taste. Girlfriend in the video didn't say what kind of oil to use, so I used olive oil, but I didn't heat it. I also used a drizzle of honey, instead of the sugar. I mixed everything together and mixed it in with the hot potato chunks. I kept getting an oily/greasy sensation in my mouth, so I think 2 tbsp of oil is too much. One should be plenty, but try it and see how it is for you. If you need to add more, you can. When everything was mixed together, it was actually good. Better than French Fries? No, but something different. It would go well with as part of an oriental dinner.

Thanks for sharing. But, they all contain oil and frying somehow. Wanna eat healthy potatoes, boil them, mash them, add some salt and black pepper, and some organic butter. Eat with a varied salad. Enjoy

2nd recipe, add salt, pepper and some grated cheese before frying. It will bind better. Go for a higher heat as well.

Regarding the second recipe, I had a go at it. I noted that the heat is shown as Low /Medium. I chopped and pressed continuously, using a potato masher. If you have a day or so to let it cook to be able to flip it, then no problem. After a half hour of pressing, I gave up and raised the temperature and made Rosti. Thanks anyway…. It was tasty.
