I found some videos on KZbin asking Americans their opinions of British people and they said all positive things. The interviewer in this video is from NYC and as an American who lived in NYC half my live but grew up in a different area of the country, New Yorkers can be a bit arrogant and think they are the center of the universe. The rest of the US is more down to earth. All the Americans I know love to travel to other countries and are open minded towards people from other cultures. When people found out I was traveling to London, Americans I know said I was going to love it and said nothing but good things. I still can’t find any videos of Americans insulting British ppl. I think the hate is one sided. Americans get a lot of hate from lots of countries.

To have a stronger argument I suggest using consistent language. Using America as the name of the United states (how many states are in America) lends itself to confusion when you mention that Canadians (and Mexicans) are American. So to be consistent speak of the United States or USA/US when speaking of the country and America when speaking of the continent instead of using them interchangeably

The street interviews are fine. The only thing I would say is you don’t have to bait the whole UK vs US debate *everytime* . Sometimes it just seems forced even when the people are alright like Tupac shirt and the other guy(even though Tupac shirt was obnoxious at first) that conversation could’ve better sooner.
