1 Safariland ALS holster for both Glock 19 and Glock 17 W/streamlight tlr1

A little long winded but… you can buy just one Safariland als holster for both Glock 19 and 17 with a stream light tlr1 series light. Sorry I Couldn’t find the name of the company making the different size barrel plugs. Just google it.

Just looked it up. You can replace the bottom plug of the holster with a product called multimuzzle from ot defense and depending on which model Amazon sends me Wednesday I may be utilizing their services 🤣

What if I add a threaded barrel to my glock 19? Wonder if that would essentially make it a glock 17 barrel length and work perfectly in the holster? Thanks for the vid

Which mag well are you using on the gen 5 glock 17?? How is it installed?

Taran tactical carry mag well. It slides on from the rear over the flared grip. It’s a little tricky to get on but not that big a deal. I’m pretty sure they have a video showing how to do it.

I don’t own that light so I can’t say. But by the looks of it I highly doubt it would fit very well. You might be able to get the gun in the holster but the retention would be meh… if it retained it at all.

I have a 6360 rds for my Glock 19 with a TLR1HL, would it fit a Glock 17 with the same light?

I’m not sure…Maybe but you would probably need to remove the piece that interfaces with the muzzle of the barrel and rely on the light to stop the gun from being over inserted. And I would imagine that some of the gun would stick out of the bottom of the holster.

I would assume so since that pistol is basically a Glock 17 but I don’t own one and could not confirm that it would fit for sure.

I believe they make a barrel stop so you can run a threaded barrel. So if you had a holster for a 19 but had threaded barrel you would need a shorter barrel stop to run the Longer barrel in that same holster (if that Makes sense)

It will not retain the gun without the light. So technically yes it will fit but no retention so you’d be better off getting a holster that isn’t meant to hold a pistol w/light.

@@dthughes4 hey i ordered the same holster as yours. 6378 - weapon light bearing. And it worked on my 17 gen 5 without lights. But my 19x with the oligh pl mini 2 does retain but it has so much space to wiggle.
