Respect him because God gave him headship even if he does not earn the respect. Love her because God said so even if she is unloveable. Thanks for this insight.

What do you mean by she is unlovable?
@CoCoRaElАй бұрын
@@mercedeshatcher6675I think OP means even when your wife is nagging and not acting like a wife. Love her anyway just like wives have to respect their husbands even when they don’t earn it.

It's been on my heart enough that I must make mention that I believe the sermon pastor Paul is referring to is the topical message titled shedding weight in the new year. It's amazing that we can look at the movement of God first hand. God bless his work

In a bathroom once I was overcome with surrender because of a relationship that I should have walked away from long before, and at this exact moment I finally cried out to God and told Him I couldn't live like this anymore. I had turned my back on God because I wanted to keep sinning, but now earnestly sought His help to rescue me. God moved in swiftly, giving me confirmation from a complete stranger that He was about to remove an obstacle in my life that was keeping me from being what God wanted me to be. He is so faithful.

Pastor Paul; I too hear from the Lord in the bathroom a lot. hehe. I thought I was the only one. Which is silly. Nobody is ever alone in the will of the Lord imo.

Yes, wives AND husbands are to follow this verse in Ephesians. It’s a beautiful marriage if this is followed by both parties. However, there are so many other factors involved as well. This verse is not to be used to keep a person in an abusive situation. The Bible also said in the old testament to stone women who were adulterers. Jesus did not stone the woman who the Jewish rulers brought to Him. Mercy and love prevail.

I don't believe it was God's plan for Jonathan to die in battle. God's will doesn't always get done, obviously.
@knowsmebyname4 жыл бұрын
Interesting thought. I always wondered about why Jonathan died. You could be correct.
