This is great. You inspired me to do my first Camino (Frances) that I finished just over a week ago. It was such a beautiful experience. Thank you for sharing your videos!

You are high on enthusiasm. Love it. I appreciate you stating the date, time and temperature. Nobody seems to do that. I like to hear the nitty gritty, real highs and lows, not just all the peaches and cream, which gets tedious in these videos. Let’s get to the real meat and potatoes.

Wow! I tuned into your channel in 2019 to prepare to walk the Camino Francis. Your films have evolved and are so professional. Your editing is fascinating. Enjoyed your strolls through the eucalyptus forests. Thank you.

Efren! I have been watching your videos since 2017 after I finished my first Camino in 2016. It is amazing how you have developed your skills in filming your travels. These are clearly your best yet. I am truly intrigued by this newest adventure. I saw several months ago that you were setting of on it and I have been waiting for you to post these videos. Lots of hard work, no doubt. Thank you for that. I pray that you are currently doing well and I look forward to the up coming episodes! be well, and buen camino!

Nice. It would be really nice to see a report on the Voi Nive Bidasoa which links St Jean Pied de Port to the Camino Norte at Irun. It passes through the french basque basque country, is quite well signed and is beautiful, taking about 4 days. I think no albergues, but nice small good value hotels in the villages along the way. On lime and in guide books, there seems to be very little information on this route. But it should be popular for those walking through France to SJP who then want to avoid the crowds of the camino francaise.

love this video! been walking the Frances 12 times since 2001, last time in 2023 and saw all the changes and developments throughout the years and recognized most of it instantly, although my brain doesn't know this direction😁 I think I told you when we met in Ponte Ferreira on the primitivo at the Dutch albergue (during covid) that I'm very grateful that you go to all the effort of filming and carrying this heavy equipment, the drone etc. I walked the GR65 from Le puy with your tracks and just dared to take on this challenge after watching your videos of it.🤩 For this September I intend to walk the Norte, re-watched all your Norte-videos and also downloaded your tracks, thanks a lot. 🥰Now I have 4 different tracks of the Norte on my organic-maps offline app, which is just great, because there are different options on some days and I also like to choose. Thank you so much for all your videos. it's also just so nice to listen to you. Buen Camino 🥰

Hi Efren, I know you will be busy walking for a while but have you heard of The Sultan's Trail (Sultan's Foundation). It goes between Vienna, and Istanbul, some 2500 km. looking forward to your walk. Chris from Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺

Loving seeing this in reverse!! Does this also mean that you’ll be doing the Le Puy and Via Gebemensis in reverse as well? I mostly can’t wait to see you return to Rome. You’ve inspired me to walk the last quarter to a third of the Via Francigena next year for my 45th bday!!

I'm glad you liked the vide9. Doing the Frances in reverse was a trip. Yes, I'm planning to do the le Puy and gebeniensis route in reverse as well and probably make it to Lucca sometime in Octubre of this year. I need to cross the Grand San Bernard's pass before it closes for the winter. I'll continue down to arome next spring.

You are starting a trend. The "reverse"; a new way of making the Camino Frances. Same, same but different.

Efren, is it really so difficult this year to find a bed in an albergue, like I read on many facebook-posts? Is the camino really so much more crowded this year?
@Walk_with_Efren7 ай бұрын
May is the busiest month on the camino. It did get crowded, but I managed to book ahead, and I also stayed off stage
