Very nice looking recipe. Looks like Mangalore area dish. Here in south Karnataka we have not heard of this. It is similar to our Nuchchunde, which we make with ground toor dal. But we steam it like idlis, without banana leaf. I will try this. Just one question please. I didn’t see you removing the bitterness from cucumber. Don’t you follow that practice? Thank you for the recipe.
