Great video! One question though. Are the hallways of USNA always that lit?

I see a bunch of things I would expect.... boxing, boats, goofy kids, and then: “a beginners guide to raising chickens.” What the fuck?

its a no brainer if you are a high school student and doing well you should definitely look into trying to get in the naval academy. if i was a teenager that is what i would spend my time doing. it is an investment that is so worth it. this is from a prior army officer that went enlisted got out went to college and then went back in as an officer. this is a good path. everything is paid for and it is a prestigious college and your learning is of the highest virtue, to lead the finest fighting force in the history of mankind. all they want in return is for you to work hard and serve your country, which is something you should want to do anyway.

whatever9042 Hey, do you mind answering me with what you think is the best route? I’ve recently been thinking about going to an academy. I’m near the top of my class and do extracurricular activities and clubs. I also do JROTC (don’t think that helps too much though lol) and I’ve also done nationals for JROTC but I don’t have any HS sports. I participated in basketball throughout middle school but my school doesn’t have basketball so I haven’t done any although softball interests me. I’ve done research about the academies and have seen that almost 90% have participated in sports. I’m currently a junior and I’m wondering if I should participate in the sport to help me throughout my senior year. I really wish I would’ve researched earlier about things that’ll help you but I don’t know if it’ll look bad to participate in sports for only a year and a half even though it’ll be something I’m committed to 100%
