What I've learnt 1) Don't do level of problems in which you frequently got stuck 2) DSA is not like you first do it then CP , you can learn it along with CP journey 3) you should do CP in your 1st year Since you'll have four years if you enjoy it you're at 0 risk 4) you need to get deeply dedicated if you want to be gm in CP

Most of the people just tell that start practice from easy problem, learn from you tube, and bla bla ..... now tell truth that how can someone learn everything from you tube. If a problem passes some test cases and rest are failed then to whom we can show our code for suggestion. Why we have to always depend on you tube for some other people code, every problem has multiple solutions even the multiple optimal solutions exist for same problem and u just said go to you tube to understand the solution. Instead u should tell reality .In most of the tier 3 colleges students are suffering from these problem as there faculty members are not capable to provide solutions to DSA problems, Now tell how we can overcome this kind of problem. Make a great video on this please!.

Without dsa you can not solve problems, only can solve easy problems. As per my knowledge DSA is important

yeah but as you do it gradually you start developing skills rather than knowing data structures you don't need to give names to these DSA topics like searching sorting techniques, you might be doing DSA but without naming them , recursion and some other stuff in DP have have to learn.

@SHREYANSH Singh Thanks a lot brother 🙂. You explained very well :) BTW, I had got an offer from a Berlin based AI startup last year. He(who sent me the offer) saw one of my projects and got impressed with it. I have tried CP on codechef and did some 25 questions there. Though they weren't rough, neither they were easy. I personally think CP is a sport. Not everyone can be good at it.

@SHREYANSH Singh Thanks brother. You also have very good knowledge. You too will excel in life. I have been programming since 8th-9th. I just do it because I like it, it's my passion. I have seen so many students blindly following CP just because seniors tell them that this is the only path.
