GREAT JOB!!! My wife of 40yrs had a severe stroke Dec 2018 and I have been doing ALL the cooking since. I had NO experience with preparing a complete meal before, I LOVE to grill, ,but general cooking is a NIGHTMARE. I have learned that timing is everything, you cannot grill steak, than bake potatoes. I REALLY appreciate this information and will be trying this meal SOON.. Please try to include Hunter, Ty and rest of the family as much as possible. Someday I would like to have the chance for Hunter and the rest of your family to try my SPICY GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH! we live in Saegertown, Pa just about 70 miles straight north up I-79 Have a Morgan Day

Melissa I couldn’t take it. I had to try the soup. My wife Liz and I made the cheese burger soup. I browned the burger while she cut the veggies. We didn’t have celery and with the ice storm no way was I getting out to get it. I didn’t have approximate times so I dumped the sour cream too early. But then let the potatoes catch up before I added the cheese milk and flour. DELICIOUS!! Perfect soul food with meat and potatoes!, Tell Hunter Indiana Jones said HI Tell Mike I bought a new Black Diamond 27 ton Log splitter and ordered the 60” granite grapple at RK. Made it for supper tonight! It was great! Ours was thicker than yours, maybe because almost no fat rendered out of our ground venison. We made 3 cups of water with chicken bullion dissolved in it because we didn’t have broth. Also used a mix of Colby and Monterey Jack cheese, which would be milder than yours. I couldn’t tell how long to cook before adding milk, so did 10-12 minutes as recommended in another recipe. My wife agrees we’re going to institutionalize it into our rotation! Thanks!

I am sooooo bored confined to my house with this stay at home order. Can't believe I'm sitting here watching someone else make soup. Ok, I'm making this. It will make my wife happy and give me something to do. I actually have all these ingredient and it looks like pretty good comfort food. I'll check back with an update and let you know how it turned out. Update: Thumbs up! I used venison burger, substituted garlic clove for garlic power, fresh basil (8 leaves) for dried. This would make good deer camp food. Very tasty and easy to make.

I tried this tonight. YUM! Although, I had to change the ingredients a bit. I didn't have potatoes but I did have a head of Cauliflower. I have to say, that makes a great potato substitute. I also chopped up 3 cloves of fresh garlic.
