Thank you very much. As I read your reply, it registered for me that I have heard this before. This is important for me to remember. I've never come across sprouted almonds, that would be nice😊

Yes, already sprouted almonds would be really nice! You are right that they are not generally around... I would buy what is around and available and either mix nuts and seeds with some sprouted and some not (more fiber this way) or sprout almonds at home... I used to be really faithful about doing this, but as my kids have gotten older and busier I tend to prefer cheating and buying things that have already been sprouted 😁One of these days, I will have to makea video about sprouting almonds...

Why did you choose sprouted nuts and not non sprouted? Thank you.

Nuts and seeds tend to have a lot of oxalates and phytates in them that makes the nutrients in them not as available. When nuts and seeds are sprouted the oxalates and phytates are broken down which makes the nutrients more available to be absorbed by our bodies. I hope that help❤

I love dried fruits in fact I love dried fruits more than fresh fruits , I eat them in moderation of course 😂 I've heard prunes are good for bone density I do eat prunes but what about dried figs raisins and dates? Could these also be good for bone density? I've heard that figs are high in calcium, raisins have boron and dates have antioxidants and are good for gut health, could these dried fruits also be good for osteoporosis snacks?

@@sarahmapes_bonebuildersystem YAY thank goodness oh and I forgot to mention dried apricots are also good source of antioxidants and have potassium, I've heard that dried fruits have more nutrition than fresh foods because they're concentrated I know the sugar is higher but I do eat them in serving size servings I don't eat dried fruits by themselves either I always add them to my oats along with other foods specially protein foods but dried fruits are definitely one of my favorite foods and I'm so glad they can help our bones 😃!
