Tried to tell people MD and Bosco are just on a different level. It is downright unfair for high school football. Especially because Cen10 and Folsom would destroy ALL public schools in the state if they didn't have private schools to compete with. This is like watching Alabama and Clemson compete with Group of 5 schools. This is just unfair. These public schools have ZERO CHANCE. They lost just by showing up.

Let's run some "theoretical" data: How many of the players from SJB, MD, DLS, & OC (etc) will %100 be noticed & recruited into D1 College's/Uni's (partial scholarship or full ride)? Now, how many of those same teams' players would be highlight reel standouts if they had just been patient & loyal to their home teams? Point is, the extra point holders, bench warmers, & water boys on those teams would be standouts on other (local) teams... Esp. if they had/have a friend/family member who (at least) knows how to use a smartphone camera. BUT, because of where they're at, they'll likely get zero shine (when it comes to being noticed by top recruiters).

I was at the MD game Centennial was garbage. They probably had 6 first downs and three was on penalties. It got so bad the refs stopped calling penalties against Centennial. It was 48 to 14 when I left and the 14 was on some bullshit. The ref was looking at a player getting held and didn't throw the flag. But when a team is down by 30 oh well. They couldn't even drop back and throw, those skinny ass lineman was getting man handled. Their best offensive player #1 got abused. Elias Ricks took his lunch money. Elias had 3 pick sixes by the second quarter. He had more catches than #1. I don't think Bosco or MD should be allowed to play public schools anymore the gap is too wide. Centennial looked like a pop warner team out there. MD play calling on offense was terrible or it would have been 50+ nothing at halftime.

Yeah, I kinda wondered about that.. There was the whistle @ 00:39.. Followed by a no call nasty face mask *RIGHT* in front of the refs.. And, there were a couple major no call pass interferences towards the end of the game. It's still quite likely that MD would have won though. Even if those calls would have materialised as TD's, MD is too psychologically strong (as a team) to let those couple of plays get their heads down.

Brandon That’s the ways it’s setup in CA playoffs. If both teams played at home in the first round then they coin flip. If one of the teams didn’t play at home and the other did they get home field advantage in the next round. They’re just preventing teams from playing all home games unless they have to coin flip for it. I think it’s fair. This isn’t the NFL I think it’s cool they do it that way.
