God and Jesus were both Gods and Holy Spirits. Both were invisible which means that there will be no image when you look in a mirror. Jesus gave up His Godliness and became man and therefor only one God, also a Holy Spirit remained in heaven. Seeing God's power coming down onto Jesus, does not prove that it is a third entity or person, as the Holy Spirit of God or the Power of God or the Talents of God, entered Jesus Christ at His baptism and He could then perform miracles showing the greatness of God who worked through Him. When a person accepts Jesus as his Savior, he receives a talent, also called baptized with the Holy Spirit, which he could use in his area. There are many talents of the Holy Spirit ie. Healing the sick, Prophesying, Speaking in Tongues, Teaching, Identifying spirits etc. Another talent that Jesus had was to become invisible and after His resurrection, He appeared to the disciples behind locked doors and then disappeared again. He is on this earth at the moment controlling the angels and other powers and where two or more are gathered in His Name. He also told His disciples that they know the Holy Spirit, also referring to the Spirit of Truth but He actually referred to Himself. As far as I am concerned, Jesus is the Holy Spirit on this earth as the bible also teaches us that the Holy Spirit on this earth did not exist until Jesus has been resurrected and glorified and took His seat on the right hand side of God the Father the Mediator, the MAN Christ Jesus, and not a God. Joh 7:39. 1 Tim 2:5. Also note the reference to only two thrones in Heaven Rev 22:3, why not a third one is there was another entity? There will be a counsel of peace between them BOTH. Zec 6:13. Why not three?

@@steveb9180 Hi Steve, I agree that Jesus was the creator God. If Jesus, who was totally man on this earth, sinned at all, mankind would have been lost in total. Luckily for us, we now have chance to be with God one day as Jesus did not sin and fulfilled all the prophecies. We cannot say that God is responsible for our sins because all creation which has a will to choose, choose the way that he/she wants. God had a Salvation plan to send His Son to this earth to give man a chance to repent and to become real children of Jesus Christ, as He is the ONLY way to God. Satan had a chance to repent but never did and he lost his chance to be saved. Mankind never had a chance but after the death of Jesus Christ, man has every chance of becoming saved. That is why Satan is fighting furiously to destroy all God's children as he knows that he will be destroyed by fire and brimstone. Time is running out and we all need to repent and become children of Jesus Christ.

@@alexanderrigby6917 God the Father is the Father of Jesus Christ as He has created Jesus. That is why God called Him His beloved Son. Initially there were two Gods, God the Father and Jesus Christ. This is confirmed in Gen 1:26 Let "US" make man. Joh 1:1 also confirmed the plurality of the Godhead, the Word was with God and the Word was God, therefore two Gods. When Jesus came to this world, He gave up His deity entirely and was totally man on this earth. When Jesus was on this earth, remember He gave up His deity, only one God remained in heaven namely God the Father. Thus the text that you quote of only one God is thus correct as John lived and knew Jesus personally. Jesus confirmed to Mary just after His resurrection who God is when He said to her that she should not touch Him as He is going to His Father and her Father, and His God and her God.

1 Cor 8:6 is but one quote of many in a Book filled with many references that explains the Trinity,progressively throughout the Book. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." 1 John 1:1 That word, "Word" is also defined as Jesus Christ.

In the end, Ms. White said things that propelled her to the station of "prophetess"....this is where she got in trouble. Trouble is spelled "Investigative Judment" !

If language is limited then why put your entire faith in a book? Of course the theology of the Church (which is the body of Christ) illuminates what scripture teaches. This is the authority of the Scripture. Otherwise you have a situation we see with modern American religion, including the SDAs, where there are a wide variety of claims about what the Bible says. For traditional Christians (Catholics and Orthodox) there is an objective way to interpret the main message of Scripture and that is through the Creed. The Nicene Creed formalized Trinitarian doctrine precisely because there were claims against Christ's divinity. We don't need to reinvent the wheel, but only believe what has always been taught by the Church.

God Almighty is not 3 different people. An excellent example is fire. God the Father is the flame(Exodus 3:2), Lord Jesus is the light(John 14:6), and the Holy Spirit is the heat. Heat is the center of fire, cannot have flame or light without heat. These are not 3 different parts. All light has heat and a type of flame, all flame has heat and gives light. Heat source is not always immediately located.

What is truly mystifying is why people blindly make the mistake of listening to men, false prophets, wolves dressed in suits. Actually it is not that mystifying at all. We are indeed like sheep with a strong urge to blindly follow the flock, we don't want to go against the world (of so called Christianity)so as not to be thought a heretic..we listen to men who are nursed through Jesuit run colleges rather than tuning out the world and listening to Gods clear words and the still small voice of his spirit.and certainly not the words of the true shepherd himself...only those who know him and are known by him - actually listen to what he says, they know his voice. The final deception is a good one..it has to be, to fool those who are not the very elect, those who do not know their good shepherd, those who are hand fed and led by wolves and the preachers who are deceived. Jesus warned us there are only few who find the way and that many are called but few are chosen. These are words the majority of Christianity will not hear. Listen to God not man and you will have the scales torn from your eyes. The trinity farce cannot stand up to Gods clear word, but you truly must love truth not cleverly devised deceptions woven by the sons of Satan who whispers in their ears. The trinity is the central doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church, her self proclaimed cornerstone, the trinity, the birth from which great bloodshed arose. Accept the mark, the belief of the mystery Babylon and you will not have the seal of God. Accept the mystery into your mind and you can only have the forehead mark of the beast. It won't avail you to not accept the one in the hand, the one you do keeping a day over another for you are worshipping false gods instead of the One and only Almighty God.
