Hello Kamon, I love all your programs, very full of nollage and I'm still learning as I go,I'm from Cairns, Australia, 😂and I only have 6 hives ,but that's enough, I try to pick up dromes for pratus,but never good,you make it look so easy,I won't try it on a Queen yet, But keep it up,thankyou, your camera lady is gooooood, don't sack her, we're never seen a photo of her,😅??? anyway thankyou very much for the education, ❤❤❤❤❤

i been using this method for years and it works great!! the only thing i add is a zip tie in addition to the pull string i add this between the string pull and the nuc box because not matter how hard you tighten up the string pull sometimes there is an opening

Hey Kamon! When you have a single brood management for the honey flow, after the flow is over do you make it a double and feed or leave it with a super, thanks!

I managed to overwinter 9 out of 10 in those boxes. New queen, left the fall flow in, pushed together and covered with a long plank of wood. I didn't touch them from end of October to start of March. When I open them I had something to see.. they were about to explode.. one was full of wax moths larvas. My boxes are a bit different.. they have only two big 2 inch holes with plastic mesh on the short sides. I thought that will be a problem with draft all winter (it was too late for propolis) but they surprised me. I think the key was that i left and didn't touch them in any way. And there was enough honey

Kamon, if they want to be beekeepers they should get used to drive a couple of bees around 😁. Na, l like that net.. it's useful for other stuff too

Has anyone had any trouble with using a Pro-Nuc as a semi-permanent hive? I did a split and put half of them in a pro-nuc and the other half of the split in a wooden nuc until I could get a wooden nuc for them. I noticed a lot of bee poop outside the pro-nuc the next day. By the end of the 2nd or 3rd day I opened them up and a large percentage of them were dead on the bottom of the nuc. The nuc was open so they could fly and it was set to "vented". Meanwhile the half of the split in the wooden hive was thriving.... Any advice on what I did wrong? Can Pro-Nuc's just not stand the Florida heat?
