@@vlverm7096 Just go and farm it. If you have a proper team you don't need crazy stats for Hydra. Don't put in Cursed set the mischief tank that also has debuff and you want built to do damage, obviously. But the healers/revivers could just be at around 220-240 speed and you only need a decent HP pool. Same thing for speeders. Someone like a Nekmo, Ukko or Visix could carry the cursed set with not much trouble. You won't get much damage from them anyway, so no need to find crit rate, and other damage stats. Obviously, if you're concerned about Nightmare Hydra you're endgame, so your gear should be good.

If you have the right champions like, mashalled or nekmo, you can build all other champs with damage builds. Leach and decrease speed in one ability is so underrated

I use deacon in cursed for an AOE decrease Def every other turn and just pumped speed into him. Paired with Artaks constant AOE abilities makes him perfect!

I've been using bambus in cursed set since finishing his fusion. I think a lot of people just pigeonholed him as a dragon hard champ, but that panda is really strong in hydra. He's got the aoe dec speed A1, but the buff extend A2 cinched it. He also has dec acc which helps with resistance requirements. Also, don't forget to toss in a retaliation set for more free A1's!

@@theblackfox0124 Cursed+retaliation and revenge accessories. ~250 speed, enough acc, then survivabilty. Warmaster and support for lasting gifts/master hexer. Cruelty is the blessing. Also place him at the back of the team to snag some debuffs.

I run an unkillable/non-devouring team with emic and 2 painkeepers. The painkeepers just use the A3 and the A2. So i equiped 1 painkeeper with a curse set and the other with a provoke set. Interestingly, they land those debuffs quite often, so it made them a bit more usefull in the team. Its not a team that deals a lot of damage, but it garantees top chest every week. Just an idea for all the players that dont have a lot of top tier champions like myself.

I use Countess Lix, has a 3 times AoE with Decrease Speed. Another AoE with 1 turn cool down reset and a weaken on the A1. She has taken my team from 400 mil to over 1 billion just with her reset for my trunda and the hex

That manual team took you over an hour. Thats why i'm not a huge fan of hydra clan clash, to get good runs, you have to manual which will take over an hour for each key. The game is already so time intensive to begin with. I just don't have the desire to sit down for an hour straight to do this.

I love using Akemtum for my Hexs. I put mine i Relentless so he can do multiple atks. Has a 3 times, 75% (fully booked) AOE Hex Atk and can extend the Hex on enemies. and his main atk has a Debuff spread on his main atk. So if a head returns after using his 2nd ability. You can atk a head with Hex and have a good chance to spread it to the new head.

I think I would enjoy hydra before hydra clash. My clan is chill, but I hate feeling pressure to push my score every week unlike CB where I just go for top chests and enough that we kill. I do like it in theory! But unlike Demon Lord I can't speedtune an Auto team and then be rewarded. Every week I have to spnd hours manualing an extended battle (or at very worst auto but make sure I'm targeting devouring heads/mischief... so not really auto). I like assembling a team to try and do what I need. Just dread the actual runs every week 😢

Honestly, I have Nekmo and Graazur and I didn't even consider them in Hex. I really like Graazur in Relentless but next gear removal I'll give it a try! Cupidus is in Hex, and it's made a massive difference to that team. Nekmo is genius however, I was running him in kinda mediocre gear anyway just paired with Shamael in a Provoke set.

I've never had a team for Hydra and I still don't really have one, but where I used to maybe get 1mil combined because I just couldn't get damage in. I'm now able to break the 7mil with a single team that contain most of my trusty HP burners. Tomb Dreng, Teumesia, Artak. Then Cybele and Scyl for healing and revives and I forgot who's the last one ... gearing changes have been very minimal so it mostly came down to having certain champions.

Cleopterix in righteous/Fortitude/ Resistance gear as mischief tank works well. Can build her with high crit damage as she brings increase crit rate & accuracy buffs to herself. Bloodshield ring/necklace for an extra buff & she’s bringing the hex

I use psylar in cursed set in one of my teams since she provides a aoe dec speed on her a3 and dec acc on her a2 which allows me to not have to build a ton of res on my team. Definitely will replace her as I get better champs but shes been great at helping me get 1 key normal chests

The only cursed set I use is on Koregar Deathbell - his ally protect ability makes him fairly good at hitting every head. Definitely need to get it on AoE champs though. Just putting the hex on gives huge damage to the champ - I'm not sure how much the nuking aspect is adding. For example, Mother Cybele - you're looking at a .2HP multiplier: she's just not gonna output much damage. Mighty Ukko - a 2.5 or 2 (doubled) attack multiplier just doesn't seem worth it. My main problem is that I've been gearing my AoE champs in stun sets - especially since Sintranos. I have to do some thinking about which few are going to be dedicated hydra champs instead.

I have exactly 3 Cursed sets on my End game F2P account :D It has been like forever that IG is the worst dng to farm, so I miss gears sets from there in general, but Curse set was sooo bad before that I just didn’t keep anything from it.

I haven't tried it yet, but I wonder what a Shieldguard in a cursed set would look like. It won't get crazy damage but as a f2p option it would get so many hits to ensure hex is always on.

I chose Deliana for a Hex-Set, she brings Leech, Block buffs and decrease Res. She has AoE A1 next to other AoE's, is tanky as a HP Champ and her passive gives me ACC via HP. Did not regret my choice so far

I had a lot of Cursed gear with speed but no accuracy so I slapped a set on Tagoar and it really does make a difference. Tagoar still captains my normal Hydra team being the awesome beast he is. :)

I had Nekmo in Relentless forever and just recently changed him into Cursed. It more than doubled my Hydra damage. I love not needing to have Mithrala in my team 100% of the time.

The only thing i hate about Hydra is that when i do it manually, it takes 1 1/2 hours to complete. But upon making an auto team, it's now bearable, sadly the damage dealt is less by 20-50mil

I like the idea of hydra. The issue with raid, is the time sink. Unless you are either a spender, or do it on a comp with that raid helper thing, i dont find the time to craft and run hydra teams.

I gotta disagree harshly on brimstone on an AOE champ for hydra. You're going to hit the stump heads a lot of the time. I have a Maulie in brimstone so I can pick my smite target and I think it's a better strategy. For AOE i think cruelty might do better, lowering all of the heads' defense. I like to put soul reap on my big hydra nukers like Gnut and Acrizia, because they don't always finish a hydra head off and even if the reaper doesn't he adds a lot of free damage. Love the channel Ash, just gotta throw my opinions out there edit- ok I was wrong because I didn't realize you did an auto team, so thats my bad. I have to manual my runs

No there's no extra on hp burn or on poisons but if you have leach on them you do heal from the extra damage just not a whole lot

I feel like people only dont like hydra if they havent taken the time to work out the mechanics of it. Yes it is time consuming but its only 3 runs per week you need to do. Also many mid-end game players should be able to build an auto team for normal atleast.
