The biggest weakness of reinhardt is that he is heavily dependent on his team. If there is no teammates to support him he pretty much dies to most heroes. This applies to high ranks, ofc.

I'd say Reaper's other big weakness is just...awareness. He's very good at shredding through a team that isn't paying attention. If you notice him and focus him, he dies very quickly. It's why he's very good in lower ranks and solo queue. You can't get anything done when people actively try to stop you.

Great, so I can watch this video and learn how to fight against all these heroes. Zaryas only weakness: her own teammates. Great. That doesn’t help me play against her whatsoever. Hammond/Winston’s only weakness: diving too far. Ok, guess I’ll just hope they do that, and if they don’t, I’ve learned nothing here. Doomfist: the only advice was literally “hope they suck, then shoot them” This is supposed to be a “how to beat any specific hero on the other team giving you trouble”. What we got is, “hope they play wrong, or just don’t play against them on that map”, none of which is remotely in our control.

My suggestion to any hero you can't counter without them having to make a mistake first: Play Sombra. She can make any well executed enemy play turn into an overextension and easy pick for the rest of your team.

@@papafouplays2991 Zarya is unkillable if she has her bubble, and shooting through it is dangerous. The best way to reliably kill her is to stop her from disengaging to get her bubble back. Mei can separate Zarya from her team or escape route, then freeze her if necessary. If you let Zarya engage and disengage repeatedly, she'll keep building charge. You have to chase her down and the best way to do that is to just cut off her escape. Mei is the best character for this.

Mei's long distance is great, it's like having Hanzo, but without a bow. You just start picking off people from far just by headshots. However I'd say her weakness is multiple people around her since she could only freeze one person at a time and her icicle shot is slow

I find that DVa is a pretty great counter for Pharah, too. Flying straight into Pharahs as DVa and blasting your missiles can usually kill them, but even if it doesn't, you usually knocked them off balance and can finish them off pretty easily afterwards.

I feel like there is too many of these types of videos on the internet. Don’t get me wrong it goes a long way if you know these tips/tricks, but overwatch is a TEAM GAME. I think that knowing these tricks is just a part of what you need to know. I think there should be more videos about how to build a team comp and how each hero on said team comp should be played. Like if you should be prioritizing protecting your backline as tank or initiating team fights. Or what targets you should be going for as a dps and if you shouldn’t take a fight with another player (i.e. 1v1s). Sure these types of videos are important but I think they support individual play in teams. Just my opinion tho :)

Hanzo and Genji are also huge targets for d.va if you know what you’re doing. As Genji, jump around her in unpredictable ways and span alt fire and dash. Most d.vas won’t know how to get away, as you can easily chase. With Hanzo, bait out her defense matrix and load her face with storm arrow. D.vas critbox is huge and right on her middle, so you can easily make all of your six shots a crit. I’ve almost never had an issue with d.va when I play these characters

This list is very inconsistent with what you mean by counter. Most people would define that as how to eliminate the hero. You use this definition for some of the heroes, but others you explain how they could potentially be less effective in game. The video needs to be more consistent on what you are explaining or it will be a mess of random information. With regards to roadhog; you can't say that he is countered by shields, and then say that he is a shield buster. I play a lot of hog and I will say that the only things that counter him are reaper and anything that will cancel out his healing such as stuns, anti-grenade, or hack. So if you want to kill a pesky hog on the loose, blindside him with a well timed stun when he goes to chug those drugs. Overall, this video felt thoughtlessly rushed out and is going to be lumped into the rest of useless overwatch guides.

Brig is even easier to deal with now. Less shield health, less base health, no armor with her heal packs. Just don't be near her and you pretty much counter her. That whip shot is only going to push u further away

For Genji as well as Hanzo and especially Widowmaker I'd also like to point people towards Winston. He is an absolute hard counter since none of those heros really has the capacity to either escape or kill him. He can zap right through Deflect and because his leap has such a short cooldown he can also easily catch up to Hanzo or Widowmaker and even a skilled Genji will sometimes struggle to get away.

Some things that you missed in this. (Might be biased because I main Mei but this also means I have experience with these) Mei counters Dva since her hit box is so big and Matrix doesn’t absorb Mei’s freeze. Mei (somewhat) counters rein. If you can get up in a reins face as Mei you can hold down left click forcing the rein to keep his shield up and freezing him if he tries to do anything that isn’t shield.

Reaper is a good counter for Reinhardt, he has a gap between his chest and his shield just step into his shield and let loose make sure to circle around him as not to get pinned once you in close like this and make sure to have you invincibility charged before doing this in case he trys to pin you. You can shread his hp pretty quickly

@@BlizzardGuides just thought I should point out alot of your tank 'reviews' were not right, for instance though hog is in a bad place as of now he shouldn't be based around where his hook can go more that he can do insane shield damage rn. That's why he is ran with orisa so they burn enemy shields. On top of that the orisa hog combo is made to take as much damage as possible. Orisa is much better compared to Reinhardt when it comes to spam as rein has to recharge his shield whereas orisa can frequently put up a new barrier allowing the tank combo to take most damage. The largest danger to Winston is not him jumping too far it is him using too many resources to get in and the enemy using lots of resources on him. As if he uses his jump to get in 5 seconds is a quick enough time to get shredded by high burst damage characters (his main counter) before he can jump again. (I am 4.1 so this is credible information)

As a Lucio main I have this piece of advice for countering Lucio, especially at low elo and on console. Use characters with lock on as Lucio relies on speed and dodging to stay alive. Characters like Moira or Torb do well against him, as do melee characters like Brigitte.

Brigitte can be countered by a sneaky hack, bionade, but range works the best (pharah mainly as she is untouchable in the sky if there isn't hitscan heroes)

Any hero that has nuke level damage, such as Hanzo, Junkrat and Reaper can melt through her shield and her whole health pool. D.VA can also shred and block her entirely.

Hey man, I just want to give you a some feedback on your video. It was all over the place and very general. Sometimes you were giving tips of how to play the heroes instead of how to counter them, and not necessarily 1 tip per hero. Try to write your material beforehand and check if it is consistent with the initial goal and title of the video. By doing this you'll keep the expectations of the viewers in line with your content, since the coherence is well appreciated. Good luck with your channel!

Heres a quick tip for widow if a Winston dives you on high ground, jump off the high ground, wait til Winston jumps down after you then grapple back up. Make sure you put down your venom mine too since he will probably come back up, and hopefully one of your tanks or healers will notice you being jumped by winston and help

Correction for reaper, true counters: mei,briggita,Lucio,semtra,phara. Roadhog. This includes stuns hooks, and pushes. Anything that pushes you away from using alts/ killing tanks

@@monica3954 D.Va can interrupt a hack with spam bullets after DM faster than Sombra can get a hack off. D.Va is honestly a good Sombra counter if she's continually pressures her the entire game.

razrv3lc Not really, firstly DM has a minimum usage. Meaning if you tap the button real quick it wont just turn on and off, but stay on for a bit then turn off. Sombra's hack takes .65 seconds. It is possible, but you have to have very fast reaction time, or plan for it ahead of time. For D.va being a counter to Sombra, no. She can be annoying sure, but any good Sombra player can easily play around her. D.va is a mobile hero, but Sombra's mobility is just on a whole other level. Unless D.va solo mission is to stop the Sombra from hacking, she wont be a problem at all and even then the Sombra is winning. I have played against a ton of D.va's and watched a ton of top Sombra players and they don't have a problem with her most of the time. If a D.va is countering the Sombra, then the Sombra player has no idea what they are doing.

+razrv3lc Just because someone can deal with a hero, doesn't mean they are a counter, or is actually good at dealing with them. I've seen people blow Pharah out of the sky with Junkrat, but you wouldn't call him her counter.

I think Sombra is a great counter to Doomfist (and possibly Genji/Rien). A well placed hack on an ability-laden Doom limits heavily what they can do.

Nice video only downside is some of these tips were literally playing badly and that is not a counter another team can use. The biggest example was Doomfist if a Doomfist isn't feeding and knows how to cycle his abilities there was no tip. You could of at least listed a hero or two that is effective. Also, some of the "counters" seemed more like tips for using the hero than a counter.

Wrecking Balls biggest counter is Sombra. Wrecking ball pile drives into a team and uses his personal shield to get some damage in and escape. If he is hacked while he is pile driving he can easily be focused.

More and more I'm going back to Bastion. He just counters too many major headaches. Started using him to counter Pharah when 76 wasn't working (he's just too squishy for her in my experience. Bastion has the higher HP count and can self heal more reliably without cooldown. If not killing her I can at least usually keep her out of the sky). But playing as Bastion more and more I found he's an effective counter to Reinhardt, Zarya and Orisa, just melting their shields or Roadhog and Wrecking Ball since they're such huge targets. Only 2 effective counters to Bastion that usually stymie me are Widow and Hanzo, but even they're not usually a huge problem, and if i've got someone properly supporting me, we can usually roll the other team.

Zarya has worked solo for me many times. Like if i see the other teams damage is insurmountable ill switch to her even though reinhardt might not be there. Ill use the payload or map to my advantage and just play around the backline of the team and it usually turns out ok

For orsia reapers and junkrat feel like soft counter in team play and equal in solo play. She has the tools to deal with them head on. To me her main counter is lack of mobility and how long it takes to set up, like what you said. When I play her my counter is genji,Tracer, and a good lucio.

I feel like biggest reignhardt counter is reaper. He can clip through the shield and get easy headshots, can easily maneuver around the shield. And with no shield he’s helpless regardless. Only time I get killed by reign as reaper is when I don’t have wraith because I used it to dodge someone else and get pinned. Or if he has the help of multiple teamates

I've found Orisa to be a good counter for torb. His turret can't deal enough damage to even bring the shield down a quarter of the way before you can destroy it. And then he usually pops up another one and starts hammering away and you just use a halt orb to get him up in the air and kill him. Then destroy the baby turret he left behind. Ta-dah!

8:04 - Rip Sombra, feel like shes forgotten, doomfist's biggest counter is not just himself, he is a 99% ability based hero, that means a hack and u can pretty much beat him to death, he can only use his primary fire (which sucks if not comboed with abilities) and his melee, and he cant gain shield from his abilities meanwhile..

At least in platin it feels like orisa counters reaper not the other way around. If he can't drop onto you, you can delay his engage or force shadow-walk with Halt! Then you have a good chance of surviving or killing him by using fortify and going back and forth through your shield.
