There is a crucial flaw to this calculation: Since everything the light touches is the lion kings kingdom, without the sun the kingdom would seize to exist, thus causing the lion ball to break apart. Either the sun wins or no one wins in this scenario.
@mrschrubelhupfyay63973 жыл бұрын
But if the lionball gets hot enough to burst into flames before destroying the sun this would lead to more light, allowing the kingdom to continue its existance
@brandonm17083 жыл бұрын
Wrong. You forgot by halfway through the statement that everything the light touches is the lions’ kingdom, therefore they already rule over the sun, and don’t need to destroy it
@janelantestaverde20183 жыл бұрын
@@mrschrubelhupfyay6397 If that were to happen, then technically yes. Now my question would be how long a gigantic ball of lions can actually burn. Wouldn't it just burn the lions on the surface? @janelantestaverde20183 жыл бұрын
@@brandonm1708 Now, does the light of the sun touch itself? 🤔 And what if the lions just _want_ to destroy it? The video didn't really explain what the lions intention was. It's actually surprisingly difficult to plunge things into the sun. Because any object launched from earth carries on the momentum from the Earth's orbital velocity. 30 KM/s or 67,000 miles per hour. In order for an object to fall into the sun you have to cancel out this orbital velocity. Which takes a lot of fuel and energy, infact it's far easier to make an object leave the solar system than it is to plunge it into the sun. I think how one satellite got close to the sun was performing gravitational sling shot orbits around Jupiter and the Sun to slowly cancel out the velocity over several years before finally making an approach to the sun. This was just to get into a near sun orbit tho, and not to fall into the sun.

Oh, I noticed something. While the mass of the lions can indeed theoretically be used for fusion, most of the elements aren't relative for fusion before the star reaches supernova. But they would also increase the mass of the sun, increasing the rate of fusion and thus shortening the lifespan of the star. In other words: the lions play the long game.
@renner6952 жыл бұрын
You're a genius 😱
@Kitkat-9862 жыл бұрын
Heavier elements can't be fused, and would diffuse the hydrogen of the star, shortening its lifespan. That being said, strangely enough, sending a giant ball of hydrogen at the sun would also shorten its lifespan for different reasons. More massive stars burn hydrogen at an exponentially higher rate, thus larger stars burn much, much hotter but also burn out faster.
