Nah pokke, e0 ff pair with e6 rm make the benchmark off. I mean sure you can see the differences anyway with e0 ff to e6 ff, but still e6 rm does so much work behind the scene that kinda taint the firefly benchmark.

​@@SerraAbyssAlisaris The E1 comparison gets skewed because of RM's DEF shred at E1 with how def shred stacks; if it's all E0 characters, the S1 and E1 would be almost equivalent in gain. Ruan Mei is also doing ~176k break even with the bricked build, an E0 Ruan Mei isn't even doing anywhere near half of that, so any kind of cycle performance here requires a grain of salt. EDIT: and also percentage calculations get skewed if E6 RM is a larger portion of the damage. If you remove 176k from each of the numbers, the % increase in each FF investment would be larger relatively speaking, like the LC would be closer to 16% increase not 10% as he says in the vid. I just think it's a bit dishonest to do comparisons with an E6 RM, should have found a different account to test this on but I guess it's unlikely a whale will have E6 FF and not E6 RM.

There's really no way to compensate for def shred on break damage, that E1 doing work for sure, stacking with relic set Edit: I just realized she's E6 not E2, yeah the break damage on E6 alone makes this incomparable to E0. Firefly still busted but saying it's identical with E0 RM is pure cap

I don't see the issue with it. You still get to see the difference in performance based on FF's eidolons and light cone. The only difference is the floor and ceiling of your overall damage output will be lower with an E0 Ruan Mei, but that doesn't matter because you still get a good idea of how the eidolons/light cone affect FF's gameplay.

I believe pokke's logic during the stream was that he's focusing more so on the relative differences between each eidolon/superimposition. In that sense, if he's using a consistent E6 ruan mei across each test, it still gives an accurate representation of relative damage differences. Like it could be E0 or E4 but either way the relative damage differences remains constant.

​@@leightonx7430 That doesn't track really because of how the E1s both have DEF shred, and each point of DEF shred gets more valuable the more that you have of it. And yes in the damage difference would be constant, but he's mathing out percentages, which do not stay constant if you remove E6 RM's damage. If you take the numbers in the video and remove 176k ice damage from each of them, the percentage difference in FF upgrades is much larger than what he reports in the video (like 16% higher on S1 and not 10% higher as he says).

You can't just remove eidolons off your characters. Trying to actually find an account with E6S5 Firefly (massive whale account) that doesn't already have E6S5 Ruan Mei is probably impossible unless you dish out a few grand on a brand new account.

Hi! I love the videos/information that you put out, and your stuff has really helped me make my account better in honkai. However, I think the information on her E2 not having a cooldown is wrong E2 firefly actually has a 1 turn downtime before she can actually proc the additional turn from breaking again. You can't really tell from this MOC because of the extra turn you get from the trotters resetting the cooldown, but if you try to use her in pure fiction it becomes noticeable-- on her second ult turn you don't get an extra turn even if you break/kill an enemy. Therefore her turns are going to be Normal turn 1: Skill-> E2 turn Normal turn 2: Skill Normal turn 3: Skill-> E2 turn turn 4: Skill etc This made her a lot worse than I expected especially for pure fiction, but I was still able to (barely) clear 40k with her team Also sorry for pinging in discord :( Forgot wasn't supposed to do that

In an ideal scenario it's still a 50% damage increase, which is insane for an E2 eidolon. I'm curious how you only barely cleared PF. My E2S1 Firefly absolutely rolled it with 2 cycles to spare

​@@janablom823 Hm I'm not sure. My firefly is able to kill everything in 1 hit but I feel like there are just too many mobs to kill 3 at a time. I just tried it twice more and both times it was still barely clearing with 10-30 avs left in the lasst cycle Is your gallaghar able to wipe a wave with his ultimate? Mine is built super poorly and isn't able to. If you are able to, that might be the difference maker since that's essentially saving 1 or 2 firefly actions if you can kill 5 enemies with gallaghar ult

Honestly a lot of people are missing the point here. This is not exactly meant to be a showcase of firefly. Mr. Pokke is trying to show the differences between eidolons and superimpositions for firefly and her signature. He’s not trying to showcase damage numbers that firefly puts up. Everyone is complaining that he has a e6 Ruan Mei in the party and that it’s skewing numbers but the reality is that the e6 Ruan Mei makes a major difference in showcasing damage but not showcasing the difference between eidolons and superimpositions for Firefly. The only issue with him having the e6 Ruan Mei as part of the team is that it does skew the performances of certain eidolons for FF that include defence shred but for all the people who are getting annoyed about this you have to remember that this isn’t his account so he was just working with what the account has which happens to be a e6 Ruan Mei.

The only reason I can see why they've put a very bad e4 to FF is due to Acheron. Remember, Acheron is Ei in HSR. In all of their games, Raiden is just busted no matter what the timeline is so she can't get powercrept just yet. Ps. Personally on F2P players, she already did powercrept acheron. Especially if the acheron is only using GNSW.
