الاسلام عليكم ورحمة الله أخي ساجد. I've been following you for a while. Your videos of interviews with all students of knowledge were really informative and helpful. Although I was born Muslim, I felt like I had just been following the culture. But in 2018 Ramadan Allah guided me Alhamdullilah. I couldn't stop my tear from coming out in Saazda. I knew that I had to change my lifestyle completely. As I had been studying in China since 2012, life was getting so challenging specially when one tries to change for the sake of Allah pleasure. Although it was challenging Jihad against Satan and my Nafs, I had to sacrifice a lot thing, then Allah helped me tremendously which I can't even be grateful enough. Alhamdullilah. In early 2019 I decided to learn Arabic to learn Quran properly in Allah's own words. As I was still in China, it was quite impossible for me to learn. Then I found your videos in KZbin and interviews of different طالب العلم. Alhamdullilah Allah helped me to find you. Your experiences in the videos were really helpful. I hadn't found any other videos like yours. Then Allah helped me to find Madina Arabic books and some free tutorials in KZbin. Since then I have been self studying and finished 21st chapter of Madinah Arabic 2, Alhamdullilah. Then again Allah was always here with me to help me decide to seek further knowledge in Islam. In mid 2019 I decided to apply in Madinah University. Then I completely the application in August. MAY ALLAH REWARD YOU BROTHER FOR YOUR EFFORT TO SHARE ALL OF YOUR EXPERIENCES IN KZbin. I'M 27+. Now I'm waiting to receive Allah decision on my life. Indeed Allah is the best planner. Pray for me brother.

وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته May Allah bless you brother. I'm very happy to hear your story and how you have benefitted from brother saajid may Allah bless him. In regards to Madina in shaa Allah if Allah wills anything is possible however having said that I know from experience that the Ministry of education has put an age restriction on applications to 25 years old which means unless the mudeer of the university grants you an exception you won't get accepted. I study in one of the unis in Saudi and was also the student representative for the western students in it. If you don't get into a uni in Saudi that doesn't mean you cannot study Islam. There are many Muslim countries with institutions and scholars so try to look at other options and if the doors of madina open up you can go there. My sincere advice to any1 who wants to study Islam is not to wait for any university or institution but begin learning straight away just like you have been. May Allah bless you and your efforts

I know many brothers that have studied in saudi and yemen for years and then come back to America and arent doing anything with what they learned. Then you soon see them as regular people and not students of knowledge.

This is one challenging thing for a lot of students of knowledge. They study and are able to be sponsored by their university or family/friends for a while. However once their 'formal' study has attended, they really struggle to find work and hence end up being forced into 'low end' jobs in order to make ends meet. This prevents them from really utilising the knowledge and experience they've gained and spreading it. Its really tough. May Allah make things easy for us.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. {إِنَّ الَّذِي فَرَضَ عَلَيْكَ الْقُرْآنَ لَرَادُّكَ إِلَى مَعَادٍ} It is indeed obligatory upon you (to enforce the Qur'an), it will surely bring you back. (Al-Qashash: 85) It is the God who requires you to pass the Qur'an to man. {لَرَادُّكَ إِلَى مَعَادٍ} will really bring you back. (Al-Qashash: 85) Al-Hasan Al-Basri says, "It is true, for Allah's sake, that he (Prophet Muhammad Shalallahu'alaihi Wasallam) really had a place, and Allah raised him on the Day of Judgment and entered it into heaven." It is narrated from Ibn Abbas something other than that. As the Imam Bukhari says in the commentary of part of his authentic book, which tells us Muhammad ibn Muqatil, has told us Ya'la, has told us Sufyan Al-Usfuri, from Ikrimah, Ibn Abbas regarding the meaning His word: will really bring you back. (Al-Qashash: 85) That is to Mecca. The same thing has been narrated by Imam Nasai in the book of interpretation of his book, also by Ibn Jarir through the Hadith of Ya'la ibn Ubaid At-Tanafisi with the same text. The same thing has been recounted by Al-Aufi, from Ibn Abbas in relation to the meaning of his word: it will certainly bring you back. (Al-Qashash: 85) That will surely bring you back to Mecca, just as He brought you out of it. Muhammad ibn Ishaq has narrated from the Mujahid about the meaning of his word: it will surely bring you back. (Al-Qashash: 85) That means, it will really bring you back to Mecca where you were born. Ibn Abu Hatim says, it is narrated from Ibn Abbas, Yahya ibnul Jazzar, Sa'id ibn Jubair, Atiyyah, and Ad-Dahhak as to the above opinion. Ibn Abu Hatim says, having told us my father, has told us Ibn Abu Umar says that Sufyan once said, "We have heard the following hadith from Muqatil for the past seven years, from Ad-Dahhak who recounted that when Prophet Shalallahu 'alaihi Wasallam left Mecca and reached Juhfah, he longed for Mecca, so Allah sent him the following verse, which is his saying:' Verily it is obligatory upon you (to do the laws) of the Qur'an, absolutely bring you back. ' (Al-Qashash: 85). ” That is Mecca. Abdur Razzaq said, telling us Ma'mar, from the Qatadah about the meaning of his word: will surely bring you back. (Al-Qashash: 85) that this is one of what Ibn Abbas has hidden, that is, its true meaning. Not only to the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) but also to the promise of His Companions, Ibn Abu Hatim has narrated the following from Na'im Al-Qari ', which he once said in connection with the meaning of his word: it will surely bring you back. (Al-Qashash: 85) That is to Jerusalem Maqdis. {إِنَّ الَّذِي فَرَضَ عَلَيْكَ الْقُرْآنَ لَرَادُّكَ إِلَى مَعَادٍ} It is indeed obligatory upon you (to enforce the Qur'an), it will surely bring you back. (Al-Qashash: 85) It is the God who requires you to pass the Qur'an to man. in Lafaz Al Quran. ii the meaning of the Quran. iii Charity of the Quran. #Fardhu and sunnah matters.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته. Brother Saajid. I'm planning to go to Medinah. I'd like to speak to you about it, if you have the time?
@s-manx35094 жыл бұрын
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته I hope you're well, ustadh. May Allah preserve you, increase you in knowledge, and bring us together in mahabah. I am a student at the Islamic University of Madinah. I've only begun my journey (finishing third semester in the mahad). I'm a bit older than other students and have a brother who studied in Madinah before me. I also made friends with graduates and had a few as teachers. Something I'm weary of but sometimes feel like I'm falling into, is the correct opinion trap. In fiqh, from what I learned before coming to Madinah, is that there's not always one correct opinion because its interpretation of text. And being literal isn't always beneficial. Learning in the mahad under very little evidence and opinions, I feel my mind becoming narrower on those things. Is it perhaps just me beginning my journey of knowledge and more will come later, or should I try to expand my knowledge base earlier on?

Maddinah is the best place for all Muslims who want to study the Deen, you can go to prophet Mohammed sala Allahu alih wasalm mosque and attend the lessons there and benefit from being around people who practice the Deen, and they definitely will help you to practice your Arabic if you need! and don't worry about the language even if you don't speak Arabic there's lots of people who speak fluent English here, and if you are from Asian countries that would be even better because there are so many people from those countries living here,so i think that it would be easy for you to communicate with them and not feel like you're in a foreign country! May Allah SWT make it easy for you.

@imanwholesale89254 жыл бұрын
What I mean is : a brother or a sister who has great knowledge of religion watch David woods and alike vids and make vids to reply to every misinformation they said and explain the correct meaning of the Hadith or ayah was mistakenly quoted ( intentionally or unintentionally ) basically set the record straight on all the شبهات David wood and alike keep talking about I watch many arab Christians like David wood and there are some brother on KZbin replying to them in Arabic in detailed academic way with proves that leave no doubts for any viewer regardless of their faith or agenda ... now for arab Christians most of them make silly mistakes in Arabic and childish mistakes in underrating Quran , Hadith and books of Hadith anybody watching them with basic Arabic knowledge can see their weaknesses some of them make this false claim about Islam out of lack of knowledge of Arabic and Islam and that result in misunderstanding and some of them alter words and decide to prove Islam wrong either way as a Muslims I believe we should explain the matter while we are in a calm and civilized way and ask Allah to guide them to Islam Omar ibn alkhatatb said : نحن نحكم بالظواهر والله يتولي السرائر And he also said لست بالخب ولا الخب يخدعني
