I'm really curious about this engine. sounds like a great compromise with better mpg over 3.3 version. Did You happen to check 0-60 times? And what numbers can we expect after some hardware mods like exhaust, intercooler etc?

I have yet to check 0-60 time. The 2.5 is the perfect balance of having power and having good mpg. Sure with a good tune this car can give you great 0-60 times.

@fernando alvarez yes it is....I had a 22 gt-line with jb4....but to answer the 2.5L question it was great on gas...the jb4 was very nice along with spectra air filter which sounded great...I lost my stinger in a crash then got a 22 gt1 and listen that 3.3 ain't no joke it's way better to have the 3.3 than the 2.5

hey so i recently installed the snorkel lights in the front grill and i noticed i lost some power in acceleration speed. And i think its because they had to take out my factory front mount intercooler? Or the original parts that go in the front grill in order to place the snorkel lights. Did this happen to you? My stinger is the 2.5 and now im thinking if i should have the snorkel lights removed & restore the factor parts back in the grill😳 any advise?

Tbh i have no clue because i wasn’t the one who installed the snorkels to my car. I didn’t notice any lost of HP after my installation. Strange you are experiencing that something is off.

Got them both from ebay. Front splitter is the ck style splitter and the rear lip spoiler is the duckbill lip

How hard was it to install the led round vents? Did you have to take the whole dash apart? Where did you connect the wiring since the gt-line doesn't come with ambient lighting?

Wasn’t hard but yes have to take the dash apart which wasn’t hard at all, i wired it to the fuse box in the front by the steering wheel

Deleted the mufflers and replaced them with ultra quiet resonators, had a deep mean tone but not overly loud and no drone.

I'm digging what you did to your stinger buddy it looks nice af...you did way more than I was able to with my gt-line b4 it was totaled in an accident....I had yellow big fella brakes snorkels(was one of the first 22 gt-line with them) jb4 spectra air filter underglow inside and outside I had a splitter and decklid I never got to install but it's great to see gt-line content

Look out for trunk rattling and AC rattling. I have a brand new 2023 lease with just 1.6k miles and every time i turn on the AC you can hear an annoying rattling sound. The issue have been reported since 2019 models. The dealership are no help worthless. Cool car but am starting to regret it and am stuck with it for 3 years car looks beautiful not gonna lie but the build quality from Kia is just bad.

@@Genaro2Goated my car has AC rattling and trunk I had hockey tape and that fixed it for me to but again comes down to the built quality just bad. Not all stingers have the AC issues but they been reported since 2019 models.

I would say stinger just because you rarely see them on the road, plus i feel it looks overall better than the k5 but the k5 are really nice and go for a good price for what it offers

The k5 nice af but if you gonna get a k5 gt you might as well get a gt-like stinger price/power wise but get that gt1 you won't be disappointed

Coming from a current k5 owner, GET THE STINGER!!! Don't be me wrong, they are nice but no comparison to the Stinger. I have the GT-Line and the power is terrible. If you do go with k5, definitely get the GT model.
