Now that was a very nice video. I don't fish tournaments and retired. I have a Ranger also. It was a new boat and I had to work out the small kinks but we love the boat. It stays in the garage and I am always primping on it. I guess I like the quality the best, Wish you the best.

I bought my first (VERY VERY first) bass boat last year ('08 Triton 21X2 w' 250 Merc) and have thoroughly enjoyed it. My BIL had an '87ish Ranger 333, engine needed rings....but much too small for the lakes we fish. So then just a few days ago he up & went and got himself a "slight" upgrade in purchasing a '16 Ranger Z521C. So here we are just two simple East Texas boys that now have the opportunity to see in REAL time how each boat stacks up against the other. I ALWAYS get those "butterflies" in my stomach every time I am either hooking up to head out or launching my Triton at the boat ramp. I'm really wanting to upgrade my Livescope to the Garmin 126sv at some point, the 93sv that I am currently using is becoming a bit too small. Great video, btw!

Great videos - I’m the original owner of a 2004 Champion 198 Elite w/Yamaha VMAX and its still going strong. I take care of my boat and motor and as a result have only had similar minor issues over the years. I try to do all of my own repairs and maintenance which isn’t that hard now that KZbin just about has a video for everything. I live about 2 hours from the Potomac and Upper Chesapeake in Maryland and 1-2x per year make the trip up and over the Maryland mountains to Deep Creek Lake. I put some added wear on the trailer every trip going up and over mountains. I’ve gotten to the point I get all new tires, replace the brake pads bearings and bearing seals every year. 1 weekend a year I put the trailer on jack stands and spend $1000. Way better than having a blow out, seized brake caliper or seized bearing on the highway.

I want to say that’s excessive, but after thinking about it for a minute it makes sense if you have the money to do that every year. You’re basically eliminating any failure in the trailer for the year for $1k. No interrupted trips, towing, potential disaster etc. I respect it.

Great video I learned a while ago if you tournament fish always keep a spare live well cartridge in the boat with you. They’re so easy to change it can save you in a tournament 👍👍

They use Zelinsky for one purpose to get rid of dissatisfied people and the government is aimed and made to solve economic problems by setting up a war and Ukraine another picture to help to get back in power and let the war get rid of pensioners and all debts and unnecessary people once again gets rid of problems, and we people interfere with the rich and incumbent president to manage the war. The president and neither side went to the ceasefire and it means that the genocide in two points was organized, the war helps the economy in the West and was quoted in a Russian newspaper. People have become dumber and do not understand what is happening. And the authorities do not change that they brought to genocide not guilty neither one side nor the other. Media say one thing, victims say another, and presidents do not want to hear another. They want to block the world from others, block KZbin and continue to gossip about what is good and what is bad, that power, that we achieved this genocide by the hands of the West at the expense of the president , we did not think and no one thought, and do not want to think only lives are wasted when there is no logic of war and everyone is to blame. Let's change everything and stop touching Russia and become a genocide, it helped in the plan of natural resources ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I took the rod tubes out of my Triton. I imagine you can do the same if you want to. God overview of the boat.

They're foamed in unfortunately. You could still do it, but it'd be a mess.

I have the same boat. Get rid of the rod tree thing. I got rid of mine and I’ve put 40 rods in my locker before. You can for about 4 in each tube. I typically have about 20 rods in the boat at a time. That tree thing takes up a ton of room
@SBFishing Жыл бұрын
Wasn’t sure if it’d work well with the rods in the higher tubes but I’m gonna give it a shot! Thanks tuned.

Old post of yours but with 13 in the box and 8 on the deck that's way more than I'm going to use. Might pull a couple out and put on the co side . But if I'm going through that many rods I've already spent too much time and no check for me. And I don't have to worry about bent eyes and my reels and line don't get beat to shit. Last boat I had without a moosehead the reel handles messed up more line than a barbed wire fence. If I grabbed a rod from the bottom had to pull 15 ft of line off and retie anyway.

@@SBFishing You are welcome! and deserving! - You've stayed "true" to "your creation" through the time and growth... enjoyable and something to appreciate. The "channel" is a huge benefit to those wanting to learn... hell, it's real. I still watch Lawson and Matt ... pretty much for the same reasons - build & grow; there's a lot to be learned by each of ya and the collaborations are just as beneficial. Keep it real ......... I had to change my seals on the hydraulic steering every 6 months they kept leaking. But this last time has lasted almost a year now. Its weird but im glad it not leaking.

Does the arm going through the cylinder have any rough spots/burrs?? That was one thing I noticed in all the videos I watched. If there’s any sort of knick or burr on there it’s what’s tearing the seal.

I have a true love for that boat, and the only thing I didn't like was the lack of storage especially for co angler. If I wasn't working with Anglers Choice I'd still be in it for sure.

It's a beautiful Ranger, and you seem to be on top of the maintenance. But,,,,, looks like you've been a bit neglectfull of taking care of your gutters (filled with tiny trees) and the brush growing out of your driveway. Tsk, tsk, I tell my wife the same thing. As soon as the season comes to an end,,,, I promise,, I will get to the house-to-do's.

They’re pour foamed in! I know I could do it, but not sure how long I’ll have the boat and if the next buyer would appreciate it. Also noticed that guys that have done it, it’s very unfinished. I took the tree out as someone else suggested and it’s a lot better.
