I feel better after watching your video! I'm very impatient with the slow growth of my hair. It's already 7 months and my hair still is very short. Hopefully once I finished my remaining infusions it'll grow faster.

Wow it's really amazing that you had the mental fortitude to take these snapshots while sick, not to mention all the videos. I think anybody seeing this will think that you're an incredible individual to make light of your past condition. To actually document it and observe it from another perspective is really telling. I have a friend who looks just like you and she looks really awesome with a long ponytail. Kinda like those Asian ponytails where the end is light and layered. Your sleeveless shirt also matches your current look! I get this feeling that you're very carefree and lighthearted haha :D Seeing our hair grow out can be so symbolic doesn't it? Almost like a different phase in life.

Even though it was hard to take snapshots while I was sick, I knew I wanted them to reflect on later. They're sobering to look at and are great reminders to enjoy the healthy moment I'm currently in. Thanks. :) I love this shirt - I normally don't do sleeveless but this one just caught my heart. Hahaha. I like to think I'm carefree and lighthearted. I always love your comments!

Thanks so much for your channel - my mum (Emily) has NHL and is going through chemo right now - your videos have helped a ton. She is now at cycle 6 and although she doesn't know if she's in remission yet, she's sure hoping so. And so am I - so we can be reunited!

Hey. Just been watching some of your vlogs and was wondering if you could give your opinion. I'll start off by saying hats off to you for dealing with such a (what I'd call) a traumatic event! So, the cancer you've got is quite common I've gathered. especially for people our age (I'm 20 years old) and I'll admit I'm a slight health freak, so idk if I'm totally over reacting or not. Basically, about 4 years ago I noticed whilst pushing in on my neck (with fair force) on the left side of the neck, I can feel a fairly squishy and movable lump inside my neck; you can't see it and it's not so easy to find unless I twist my neck to the side and the skin pulls really tight. It's been there for 4 years, never changed and I've never had any other symptoms, like itching or fatigue it's just something I've kept my eye on. Nobody has mentioned it. Like I had my glands felt when I was sick once and it wasn't questioned. So my question is does it sound like an ordinary thing or a red flag? And how long did it take you to get symptoms / what was the time frame before the diagnosis. Sorry for long message! Just a bit of a health freak myself!

Hey, Jay. Thanks for watching my stuff and commenting! If I was you, and the stress is affecting you, I would tell you doctor your concerns and ask for tests. The easiest and simplest tests are blood tests (they won't want to do scans like x-rays first). A blood test should give you a good indication of what's happening, at least it did for me. If the lump is the only symptom you have, and the blood tests come back clear, then the lump may be a random cyst that is benign. I know many people who have an odd lump on their body and the doctor has confirmed that it's just a cyst and nothing to worry about (only something to watch if its form changes). I also know that lymphnodes swell when we are sick because the lymphnodes are activated and fighting off your illness. So it could be totally normal and fine. I would just ask to get additional tests from your doctor to confirm. In one of my earlier videos you can watch me talk about getting diagnosed. From the beginning of my itchy feet to diagnosis was 6 months. But the cancer could have been growing for a long time before hand, I'm not sure because I never had any external lumps.

Hey, Cynthia. I'm so glad they've helped you. Your comment warms my heart! I haven't done anything to speed hair growth but I'm not someone who damages my hair (like straightening it or frequently changing colours). Maybe that has helped me? I also have been trying a variety of oils in my hair to tackle my dry scalp that came back and I've heard oils can also help hair growth. That may have helped as well. I've read that adding a tiny bit (like 3%) of peppermint oil to jojoba oil and/or castor oil is good for hair growth so you could maybe look into that too? I hope treatment hasn't been too rough for you and that you're on track to beat it.
