This is my one-year progression of using the Gmkjoystick with tips and tricks on how to get better faster. I also talk about an analysis of the Gmk joystick and if it's worth buying.

probably the only real advantage is the optimal binds.. dont think its cause im bad and not playing that long. I think certain movement is harder with controller because of the freedom and finicky nature of the analogue sticks. for example billy bicep did a double movement tutorial vid.. with certain drills.. walking on the upright edge of half edit floors and building walls to the side... or cone, wall, peanut edit, pass the edited wall without jumping. his shh looks mechanically perfect.. (just walking a straight line while throwing builds left/right) its obviously easier cause with wasd you press wd to wa and only the mouse is really used in a dynamic manner. With analogue sticks (cause both are dynamic/variable) you veer off line every moment (if you are good you can correct though) but its just a lot more disruption and flow breaks.

I kno this is old but have u ever download the micro program to change the deadzone and ur diagonal running if not im assuming cuz u didnt mention it that gets rid of the stiffness and the bot walk u were talking about in the beginning

I think for have a first impression before buying a joystick, it can be good to try with a xbox controller if you have one, put it like the gmk joystick and try 🤷‍♂️

Do you play any other games? Every freaking video I see about this joystick is about Fortnite. Does it have pressure sensitivity? I'm interested in using it in games so I can move slowly, like a walk, and move into a run with it.

No it still works great, the only thing is the rubber is worn down

I think it;s a good idea but now there arw software that mimic double movement so for that part it's not gonna be better. However you do still get optimal keybinds so yeah go for it.

I think it’s a good challenge if Fortnite is getting boring for you but if your not trying to get better I don’t really think it’s worth it

You don’t have to move hand position I’ve had my joystick for a year as well and still am able to reach WASD perfectly fine
