Do your roots get tangled with free form? What are the not so good things you’ve experienced with free form so far?

My roots do get tangled a lot more often but I don't mind it all that much. However, every single time I wash my hair, I pop my locs so I just separate the sections of my roots that are tangled. Just with my fingers. Honestly, that's the only thing I have experienced that isn't as favorable. Other than that I absolutely love it over manicured locs!

Thank you! And yes, believe it or not, that is normal. Because most of us have at 2 or 3 different hair patterns/textures naturally, some parts of our hair may loc more slow/faster.

I notice little balls of hair hanging from some of my twists 4 mo in. They ususally fall off during a shower is that normal? Do locs shed?

That’s perfectLy normal

Yes this is completely normal. The balls at the end of the locs are a sign that the locs are trying to round out at the end
