Finally took my 450L on dirt. Sand actually. Wow, I am impressed!!! So much more torque than I thought it was going to have. Granted, I did a Yoshi exhaust and Vortex CPU. It is NOT stock. Even at slow speeds in 2nd and sometimes 3rd, I ne ee felt like I was in danger of stalling it. Just a quick flick of the throttle and I was moving as fast as I wanted to go, up whatever the trail laid before me. I'm a believer now. Hey John, new graphics look great. Also, does the rekluse clutch, specifically the new cover, give you extra oil capacity? I have heard the Hinson cover gives you an extra 1-200ml of oil which would give a nice buffer for when you have to push the change out slightly. Oh, one more thing (I won't spoil your next new mod), but I have a friend who is installing a 'you know what' and he has a set of graphics for it. I'll send you some photos when he's installed it so you can see what it looks like.
@JohnTYoung4 жыл бұрын
The Rekluse is "supposed" to be deeper, but by how much I don't know. New Video Idea! I just order a set of replace graphics for my U No Wat to keep it all consistent but they are not custom cut or shaped, so we'll see how the install goes. And yes, ALWAYS send pictures. Thanks Greg.

Fuel in the oil? how does that happen when it's so lean the throttle does not work properly?
@JohnTYoung4 жыл бұрын
That is the question.
@tomnwoo4 жыл бұрын
John T. Young Strange isn’t it, had me scratching my head, I get the blow by aspect, but would have thought the bit that got through would have been the light “front end” of the fuel, and would not have ended up in solution in the oil.
@tomnwoo4 жыл бұрын
@@JohnTYoung i wonder if it's the port injection aspect, historically carbs were further up the intake tract, to allow fuel to properly mix, and fuel that fell out of suspension landed on and evaporated from the intake walls, i suspect this is now spraying fuel so close to the cylinder it instead falls and condenses on the cylinder wall and gets sweps behind the rings, to ultimately dilute the oil...

Hi, great review. Do the mods improve or solve the twitchy throttle response over stock? Lots of people speculate that exhaust and fuel programmer will solve it.

Thanks Thomas R. Yes, the Vortex adds some fuel even with the throttle off and gets rid of the twitch. You can use the Vortex ECU even with the stock pipe - Map 0.
