It's my dogs birthday and he turned 4 also i learned how to play this song on ukulele 11.07.2022 My dog was sick but now he is fine 04.08.2022 I am still singing it for him. Fun fact, I’ve actually experienced this in real life, I mean- I had my headphones on, listening to this song. For the past couple days, I have been putting this on loop and falling asleep to it. I have fallen asleep and woken up so much happier than I have in a while. I think the feeling that this song stirs in me has been attracting good things around me... A boba tea bar somehow opened up in my incredibly small, close-minded town in the delta! I visited them today after a couple days after their opening, and I believe I hit it off with them. I think they might hire me! It just sounds like a dream to have that job. My argument with my mom was resolved and I was able to contact my therapist to schedule a new appointment to help with the aftermath :) I turn 17 in exactly a week (next Wednesday) and the door to so many more freedoms seems like is going to open up for me, as well! Thank you for helping me sleep even better to Liana Flores’s voice than I could before. The rain helps comfort me. Let us hope for more great happenings!

I have a character who’s song I like to imagine is Rises the Moon. They’re such a calm yet graceful character, precise with their actions yet always a worrier, afraid of the worst yet striving for the best. Always visibly calm and helping others before themselves, and this is just definitely making me think of them. The scene would be simplistic, the song merely some white noise in the background as they listen to the rain with a warm drink (or cold, depends on their mood) Nothing to do, just observing the blurry moon, only barely covered by the rain clouds

The darkened sky above was littered with thick and blackened clouds, each holding their own weight of water as the rain came pouring in a steady manner, it’s pitter-patting hitting the window continuously. To some, it was a depressing view. The night sky, usually bright with the stars and moon, now covered with blue-ish grey clouds. To others, it was a relaxing one. Seeing the soft glow of the moon peek through the clouds every now and again as the rain fell into a steady and soft tune. Esteria fell neatly in the category of ‘others’, fingertips drifting over the dusted books as they shifted their attention back to the kettle that just whistled in alert. She moved forward, pouring the boiling water into a mug, the liquid splashing against its sides before battling against the brown cocoa powder, soon reaching a stalemate before being mixed together. A soft hum accompanied Esteria’s thoughts as she added hot (well, more of warm. She disliked burning her tongue) milk to the mixture. Keeping the small spoon in the mug, they used one hand to carry the drink and the other to take that dusted book they had moved past before. A simple night,, one only few could appreciate. Esteria, for once, did not mind falling into that smaller category. A low sigh slipped from her as she placed the drink and book down onto the coffee table, making sure nothing spilt before she slumped into her seat with an almost relieved happiness. This moment may be better shared with friends, but the silence and comfort of a hot drink being your only company was an odd thing, seemingly depressing yet oh-so-relaxing. Esti watched as the clouds drifted across the sky, weighed down by water that still kept coming. As a child, she would wonder where all that water came from. Older, she knows the answer, but likes to pretend she doesn’t. It’s nicer that way, slipping into the old pattern of being oblivious to the silliest of things. Her thoughts were interrupted by the soft ding of her phone, to which she took it and flipped it over to see the glowing message from her friend, ending in their signature smiley face. Earning a smile themselves, she tapped the message open.

I wrote a short story while listening to this song, here it is. It’s called, “Rain.” She opened the door with her delicate hands gently, peering outside her door to see little raindrops pouring from the above. She smiled and walzed outside into the lovely weather. As she stood in her fluffy, green grass, she looked up. With rain dripping down her face, she grinned. At peace. She then starting laughing and playing around in the muddy puddles the rain had formed. And once the rain ended, she frowned. But then was surprised by a magical rainbow in the sky above. Her eyes grew wide. The next day she sat inside her house, writing in her notebook next to a window. When she was fully focused on her writing, she heard a little *pitter patter* and the rain had come to visit her again. The rain heavily pounded on her window next to her and she was comforted by the lovely sounds of the best weather ever. Another time, she was deeply upset with herself and sobbed at the thought of sadness and her falling into a spiral of depression. But, the rain came again. Her eyes grew wide once again and she froze. She slowly grinned into a huge smile as tears rolled down her cheeks. She flew open her door and ran outside into the rain. Crying, she played in the rain. She thought to herself, “what a gift.” ❤

When I was in 5th grade I found this song. Being the obsessed little artist I was, I used my sub-par art style and a mildly sharpened pencil to illustrate each lyric. It looked terrible, but it took me hours and I was so proud of myself. It was a whole storyline with a girl who’s caretaker died and sang this song even after death. It was honestly kind of impressive how much work I put into this. Seeing as it was all in random loose notecards, I lost most of it. Tonight I was feeling rather nostalgic, so I decided to try to recreate it. News flash: I’ve repeated this two times and I’m still not done. Currently on “memories swim, and haunt you”. This song has become my comfort song; whenever I get to a really low point and tempted to do things I know I’ll regret, or am so stressed from school I can barely breathe, I take a deep breath and pull up this video. I want to know, why do you all want love? I've had relationships, multiple times, and i still can't wrap my head around the concept. I understand how it works,but why do you people want it? I’ve been sick(vomiting) lately and I have a lot of trouble sleeping. I keep waking up at 3:30 am on the dot and after checking my socials this really helps this weird feeling in my stomach go away for a bit. I take melatonin but this sure does help if the melatonin doesn’t work!

I needed this tonight. I've been going through some really shitty times with some family problems (and it's my dad's fault) with my mental health going down rapidly I had to go back to therapy. I find myself crying into my pillow more and more often now. I was really struggling during the school year, as a result my grades dropped by a huge amount. I come back to this during sleepless nights where I can't seem to figure out what to write for a page of my book. It usually helps. Thank you Liana Flores and Lotus flower bunny. On the bright side I had a cute little kitten in my lap today! July 18 2023, I've finally made some progress on my book but I was swimming yesterday and my dad was watching, he told me to swim from one end of the pool to the other. I did but he said I needed more practice even though I've been swimming for half of my life. Hopefully things get better soon.

This video makes me happy, I had a conversation with one of my best friends/close friends? (I don’t really know what he would prefer) earlier today. He came over to my house after work and started chatting with me until he fell asleep, he woke up a few minutes later and told him that I’ve noticed that he sleep a lot more when I’m around him so I asked him why. “Because you’re my safe space.” He was smiling, I never heard anyone tell me that before so I was completely off guard, to be honest, thinking about it again makes me want to cry a bit. Hi guys I'm so lucky to have my friend. I love them sm. We've been playing mc in their world, a beautiful place full of giant mushrooms and floating lamps and lush plants and the quiet homes of their other friends. It's something that brings a hopeful comfort, having a friend. I listen to this song and see us, sitting on top of one of their mushrooms or in our biblical angel statue or walking through the wood. Does anyone else remember this in Coroline? Anyway here’s a little spin off story of Coroline, but a happier other world. Through the little door she went, on the other side a warm house, identical to her own but different. It reminded her of her life back in Colorado. Back when her family was happy, there was no yelling, no fighting, and she had her friends. Walking around the familiar hallways, Coroline eventually came across the other mother. “Welcome home dear”. Words which Coroline haven’t heard in a very long time. “Please go get your father for dinner, it’s chicken, your favorite!”. This mother knew, this mother didn’t forget. A dazed Coroline went to go get her other father, whom was playing the piano. She was greeted with a warm smile and a small performance, for once she wasn’t told to leave or get out. Her and the other father went back to the kitchen, where the table was set with food. The family sat down and ate, small giggles and chatter filled the room. After her stomach was full, Coroline went to bed. She knew. She knew this world was fake. She knew this world was dangerous. But she didn’t care, she was happy. Her family was back to being her family, the one she loved. Not the one who fought over every little thing, or threatened the other with divorce papers. She dozed off. “Warm” was the only thought left in her head.

One night, I was feeling anxious, disappointed in love, I put on something to relax, and then I remembered this song, when searching, this video option came up, and I thought: it could be perfect for I fell asleep, and it really was wonderful, I slept like an angel, but something else happened, I had a dream that I still haven't forgotten, since I was a child I hadn't had dreams like that, I was walking through a totally empty place, with a lot of fog, but it looked like a normal city, it was very calm, just like the melody in the video, and inside the dream, I heard someone singing this song, in a way that I I was chasing the beautiful voice, and when I arrived, I came across a person whose face I don't remember, but in the dream I had told her: please don't stop singing, you calm me down. Since then, I've been curious to this day, not only about why the song calmed me down so much, but also that dream, it gives me goosebumps about how significant that was for me, and I'd like to know who was singing, despite looking crazy. this one time i went outside when it was pouring rain and i just ran around and jumped in puddles and id never done that in my life and honestly it was one of the best things ive done :) i had to take a shower anyways, and i just had to wash my shirt cuz it was soaking + kinda dirty already and my mom is always sweet when im like "can i run around in the rain?"
