A dev spoke about how lower players can get in lobbies with people that are technically better/higher level. That putting in a match faster is more priority than the "perfect" match. Trying to create the perfect match for each player would increase the que times. Hence why I'm horrible but get preds/master's players in my lobbies, so that we all don't have to wait so long to get in a match

I hate that so much. Im level 50 something and would like it better if I were teamed with people in the same level rank. It makes it harder for newbies to get kills, and lvl up if theyre matched with players who are over lvl 100 and stuff.

As an example, I got some good ideas from watching Lulu when she was learning how to play Caustic back in like season 5 or 6. But then you also have the flip side;I had this one caustic on my team where the dude had very few kills & it was clear they didn't know what they're doing with traps & was still learning the character. When I tried giving him tips on how to place traps more effectivley, he was like "I know what I'm doing, don't tell me how to play the character" & I was like "Ok, do your thing man" Lol

To play caustic effectively just trap a building. Outdoors is tricky but the idea is to trap cover so that if the enemy pushes you have a chance to turn the fight for a second.

Apex is full of little etiquettes that people ignore, and I hate it. If someone dibs something, I don't touch it. Even if I don't agree with where the Jumpmaster says, I still go. Lifeline opens her carepackage and has first pick. If someone opens a bins, the contents are theirs. If someone pings something, then you dibs it and pick it up, you say "thankyou", and the other person replies, unless you're in voice comms. I wish everyone observed these morals.

Kandy the matchmaking system bases your lobbies with how you performed in the previous match. If you’ve got a lot of kills or decent damage you can be put in higher skill lobbies.
